  • Publication number: 20070137843
Abstract: A heat exchanger network has at least one passage for a coolant and a heat exchanger provided with such a core. The coolant passage has a plurality of flow channels which are disposed in parallel and delimited by separating walls and connected to each other in an undulating shape at their ends by deflection zones. The flow channels are formed by at least one lamella which has separating walls and a meandering cross-section. The deflection zones are formed by recesses which are provided at the ends of the separating walls.

  • Patent number: 6901996
Abstract: A coolant/air heat exchanger core assembly (1) is described, having at least one meandering or serpentine coolant passage and an air passage between superimposed plates. The coolant passage is formed by a plurality of channels (34) which are bounded at the sides by the webs or flanges of profiles (33) with an I-shaped or U-shaped cross-section and are connected together at their ends by diverting sections (36) (FIG. 4).

  • Patent number: 5299633
Abstract: A heat exchanger device for refrigeration driers in compressed-air installations is described. Such heat exchanger devices have an air/air heat exchanger (1) and a refrigerant/air heat exchanger (2). According to the invention, the air/air heat exchanger is produced as a plate heat exchanger and the refrigerant/air heat exchanger is produced as a combined tube/plate heat exchanger. The tube/plate heat exchanger has at least one unit containing a tube coil being coiled in a meandering manner and forming two spaced broad sides, and two plates, each plate being fastened at one of the two broad sides (FIG. 1 ).
