    Abstract: A sensor for detecting movement of a control element moved by an electromagnetic actuator comprises a fixed coil arrangement having at least one coil connected to a current supply and to a signal detection device. A housing circumferentially encloses the fixed coil arrangement. The housing comprises a magnetically conductive material with poor electrical conductivity. An axially movable rod-shaped sensor part of a magnetizable material is connected to the control element. A short circuit element comprised of an electrically conductive material with low ohmic resistance is disposed on the rod-shaped element and is delimited in a longitudinal direction of the rod-shaped element by two outer edge regions. The short circuit element is dimensioned in the movement direction of the rod-shaped element so that only one of the outer edge regions of the short circuit element is always positioned inside the fixed coil arrangement during the back and forth movement in a stroke region of the fixed coil arrangement.

Upon reception of the access authorization data (45, 50, 55) in an evaluation unit (6) of the at least one subscriber station (5, 10, 15, 20), the question is asked whether the access authorization data (45, 50, 55) include an access threshold value (S), and the access threshold value (S) is compared with a random number or a pseudo-random number (R), and the right of access to a telecommunications channel of the at least one subscriber station (5, 10, 15, 20) is granted as a function of the outcome of comparison.

    Abstract: A free piston engine is configured with a pair of opposed engine cylinders located on opposite sides of a fluid pumping assembly. An inner piston assembly includes a pair of inner pistons, one each operatively located in a respective one of the engine cylinders, with a push rod connected between the inner pistons. The push rod extends through an inner pumping chamber in the fluid pumping assembly and forms a fluid plunger within this chamber. An outer piston assembly includes a pair of outer pistons, one each operatively located in a respective one of the engine cylinders, with at least one pull rod connected between the outer pistons. The pull rod extends through an outer pumping chamber in the fluid pumping assembly and forms a fluid plunger within this chamber. The movement of the inner and outer piston assemblies during engine operation will cause the fluid plungers to pump fluid from a low pressure container into a high pressure chamber as a means of storing the energy output from the engine.

The encoded useful data in the first bit stream are channel decoded by the intermediary station (15). For transmission in a second network (20), the useful data are again channel encoded by the intermediary station (15) and are transmitted to a second mobile station (5) via a transmission channel of the second network (20). Signalization data containing information regarding the encoding in the first step are transmitted from the intermediary station (15) to the second mobile station (5).
