  • Publication number: 20240051759
Abstract: A method for handling flat objects, in particular sanitary products, such as nappies, sanitary towels or the like, wherein a group of objects is subjected to a compression operation in a compression device so that the group of objects has a degree of compression as a result of the compression. A plurality of compression devices are arranged one after the other so that the group of objects which is compressed with a compression device is supplied to the following compression device with the respective degree of compression thereof and is further compressed in this compression device in order to achieve a higher degree of compression.

  • Patent number: 10227278
Abstract: The production of 2-propylheptanol described here is effected via Rh-catalyzed hydroformylation of C4-olefin to afford C5-aldehyde, aldol condensation to afford the C10-aldehyde and hydrogenation to afford the C10-alcohol. The emphasis is on the hydroformylation and the ligand employed therein. The problem addressed by the invention is that of reducing the costs of 2PH production. This problem is solved when a cheaper catalyst system which simultaneously achieves a better regioselectivity is employed in the hydroformylation.

  • Patent number: 8920315
Abstract: A quick-action tensioning clip of a wound retractor, with at least one braceable seat for at least one holding arm and/or for a joint ball of a holding arm, is made available which can be operated safely, easily and quickly and which requires only low operating forces and at the same time safely and permanently generates high clamping forces, this being achieved by the fact that, in order to generate the tensioning force, it is equipped with a toggle catch composed of two joint levers which are connected to each other via a connecting joint and which, at their free ends, are articulated via attachment joints on component parts of the quick-action tensioning clip that can be mechanically moved away from or towards one another.

  • Patent number: 8579808
Abstract: A tensioning device of a surgical retractor has a tensioning section for applying a tensile force to a tool that is to be arranged thereon, and a holding bar fixed in position relative to the tensioning section, and also a locking device. The locking device is provided between the holding bar and the tensioning section and has a releasable locking function counter to the direction of the tensile force. The tensioning device can be operated comfortably, with minimal force being applied, is optimally accessible and takes up only a small overall volume. This is made possible by the fact that the locking device is configured as a linear ratchet or linear feed mechanism and that the feed mechanism has an actuating lever and an unlocking device.
