  • Publication number: 20250054013
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for providing user offers based on efficient iterative recommendation structures. In various aspects, a server invokes a bi-directional look-up interface via a lookup request, where the bi-directional look-up interface is exposed via an electronic recommendation structure. The lookup request causes the bi-directional look-up interface to return a bi-directional recommendation value. The bi-directional recommendation value indicates a likelihood of a first user selecting a first offer or a second offer. The bi-directional recommendation value is transmitted via a computer network to a client device associated with the first user upon a determination that the likelihood meets or exceeds a recommendation threshold. The client device is operative to display at least one of the first offer or the second offer.

  • Publication number: 20230245321
Abstract: A segmentation system processes images of a sample that includes fluorescent entities. The segmentation system applies a threshold image that represents background illumination distinct from fluorescence of target entities to pre-process the images. The segmentation system determines numbers of target entities in pre-processed images and determines whether an estimated number of target entities in the sample meets a threshold certainty. The segmentation system continues to analyze one or more images until the threshold certainty is determined. When the threshold certainty is met, the estimated number of target entities may be used to generate a user interface output (e.g., displaying the pre-processed images and visual indicators of the locations of target entities.

  • Patent number: 9999987
Abstract: Provided is a method for bucking a stem that utilizes the combination of moving sensor and a fixed sensor. The fixed sensor measures a location of a first end of the stem travelling on a conveyor to determine a travel distance the first end has moved past the fixed sensor. The movable sensor measures a location of a second end of the stem to determine a sensor distance between the fixed sensor and the movable sensor. The length of the stem is determined by adding the travel distance to the sensor distance.

  • Publication number: 20110229067
Abstract: The bearing cage with high speed features has a pocket with a first flange and a second flange which defines the outer boundaries of the pocket. The first flange and the second flange each have a plurality of inwardly directed protrusions facing each other. The protrusions are contactable at each end of rollers, which are arranged in the bearing cage. The protrusions can be dome shaped, creating a small area of contact between the rollers and protrusions. The point of contact between the rollers and the protrusions is at the center of the rollers, which reduces the relative speed between the ends of the pockets and the rollers.
