  • Publication number: 20190076688
Abstract: A device for suspending gymnastic rings and handles is described. The device has a power spring to automatically retract a strap onto a spool. There is a cam buckle that holds the strap in place at a desired height. There are marks on the strap to use as reference to easily match the rings to the same height. The device is typically used as a pair, one device for each ring. Many handle and bars can be attached.

  • Patent number: 10075327
Abstract: The subject disclosure is directed towards a technology that automatically mitigates datacenter failures, instead of relying on human intervention to diagnose and repair the network. Via a mitigation pipeline, when a network failure is detected, a candidate set of components that are likely to be the cause of the failure is identified, with mitigation actions iteratively targeting each component to attempt to alleviate the problem. The impact to the network is estimated to ensure that the redundancy present in the network will be able to handle the mitigation action without adverse disruption to the network.

  • Patent number: 10065067
Abstract: An exercise machine that provides a generally consistent resistive force against a user who walks, steps, or runs away from the machine as part of a strength training exercise program. The machine is built upon a movable frame having transport wheel assemblies that allow the exercise machine to be placed on an indoor floor surface or on the ground outdoors. The frame of the device further supports three parallel spinning assemblies that together allow a length of linear strap attached to the user to run out from the machine and thereafter be retracted or rewound back into the machine. The spinning assemblies include a flywheel assembly, a spool assembly, and a spring assembly, each co-axially arranged on a spin axle extending across the frame. The spring assembly is fixed against the frame and incorporates a coil spring that tightens with the rotation of the spin axle in a first direction (allowing the linear run-out strap to extend out from the spool assembly).

  • Publication number: 20180211366
Abstract: Representative embodiments disclose mechanisms to flatten an image comprising at least one curved or bent edge. An image is received from a capture device and a UI is presented that allows a user to define a general vicinity of an item in the image to be flattened. The system analyzes pixels in the general vicinity to identify the highest probability of a corner in each general vicinity. The gradient of pixels between the corners is calculated and pixels scores are calculated based on the gradient. The pixels with the lowest scores between each corner are used as an edge. Smoothing is applied to each edge. Dimensions of the flat representation are calculated and the system maps pixels bounded by the edges and corners to pixels in the flat representation and copies the mapped pixels to the flat representation.

  • Patent number: 9935584
Abstract: A self-biased gyrator-based input receiver amplifies and equalizes single-ended signals. The input receiver implements inductive impedance useful for high-frequency peaking circuits using an active gyrator-C circuit comprising only resistive, capacitive, and transistor elements, which are easily and efficiently fabricated on a conventional integrated circuit. Transistors comprising the input receiver, along with resistive elements and capacitive elements may be implemented as digitally adjustable circuit elements, providing for adjustment of at least peak frequency, low-frequency gain, and termination impedance.

  • Publication number: 20140316812
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of streamlining the intake registration of a patient at a healthcare provider facility. A secure, online database is provided via web-based interface portal for a patient to enter and store the patient's private health information (PHI) data. A unique readable scanning code, such as a QR code, is assigned to the patient's stored data. The scanning code is placed on items that may be carried by the patient, such as, wallet-sized cards, pendants, stickers, or via display on the patient's mobile devices or PC devices. The healthcare provider facility is provided with a scanner to read the QR code. The patient controls access to the PHI data via levels of security set by the patient. Upon entering the healthcare provider facility, the patient's QR code is scanned, and the permitted level(s) of PHI data are automatically populated into the facility's electronic health record system(s).
