Publication number: 20140066029Abstract: A method for establishing wireless communication between a service vendor and a customer accepts entry of a wireless address for a customer communications device, obtained from an electronic transaction. The entry of the stored wireless address is confirmed by transmitting a first wireless message that displays a hypertext link to a network address. Response to hypertext link selection classifies the customer communications device, identifies a network applications storage location, and transmits a second wireless message to the customer device that includes a first set of programmed instructions that display a download prompt. Response to download prompt selection transmits a third wireless message to the customer communications device, including a second set of programmed instructions associated with the service vendor, wherein the second set of programmed instructions generates and displays a user-actuable link on the customer communications device.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 8, 2013Publication date: March 6, 2014Inventors: John Joseph Brennan, Warner Hardwick Siebert, Michael Christopher Cerrone, John Rider Williams

Publication number: 20130345894Abstract: Disclosed are methods to aid in a calibration of a vertical orientation of a nozzle tip to a sample container in a processing or testing system. The method includes positioning the nozzle over a calibration target at a home height location (HM), moving the nozzle downward a distance (D) until contact with the calibration target is sensed, positioning the nozzle over the sample rack and moving the nozzle downward until contact with a registration location is sensed, imaging the sample rack and calibration target to determine a height (H) between the registration location and calibration target, and calculating a translation ratio (TR) between the height (H) measured in pixel space and the distance (D) measured in machine space. The translation ratio (TR) may be used to drive the nozzle tip to a predetermined depth. A robot calibration system is disclosed, as are other aspects.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 16, 2012Publication date: December 26, 2013Applicant: SIEMENS HEALTHCARE DIAGNOSTICS INC.Inventors: Antoine E. Patent number: 7788562Abstract: Pattern controllable LFSRs or MISRs are disclosed that are able to mask indeterminate states while performing tests on DUT outputs. At appropriate times, the MISRs or the LFSRs will mask the data being input to the MISRs or the LFSRs so that indeterminate states are not received. This allows fast/complex ATE Rx memory to be replaced by slower and smaller MISR pattern memory. At the end of a test period, the LFSRs or MISRs generate signatures which are then compared to a set of possible valid signatures for non-deterministic data. A pass/fail result is produced. By masking indeterminate states, fewer valid signatures need to be stored. Masking of the MISRs or LFSRs may be based on the fact that indeterminate states and good data in a serial output data stream tend to occur in predictable patterns, or that good data may follow alignment characters. MISR or LFSR output signatures may also be employed to test individual pattern segments instead of the entire input test pattern.Type: GrantFiled: November 29, 2006Date of Patent: August 31, 2010Assignee: Advantest CorporationInventors: Thomas Joseph Brennan, David Harry Armstrong
