Abstract: A cable management device includes an enclosure including a first retaining feature, and a cable spool mounted to the enclosure and including a second retaining feature. The Second retaining feature is movable between a closed position and an open position. A method for storing cable in a cable management device includes moving the second retaining feature from the closed position to the open position to increase a distance between the first and second retaining features to open a corresponding space between the first and second retaining features, spooling a cable around the cable spool, and moving the second retaining feature from the open position to the closed position to decrease the distance between the first and second retaining features to reduce or close the corresponding space between the first and second retaining features.

Abstract: Tool monitoring systems and beacon devices used in the tool monitoring systems are provided. The tool monitoring systems permits one or more beacon devices to upload tool information to a cloud-based computing system either directly or indirectly. Direct communication between the beacon devices and the cloud-based computing system 12 utilizes a communication module and a server. Indirect communication between the beacon devices and the cloud-based computing system utilizes a mobile application running on a mobile computing device or platform and a web services running on the server. The beacon devices are worn by a tool user or installed in a fixed location and communicate with one or more tools to retrieve tool information from the one or more tools and upload the tool information to the cloud-based computing system's database.

Abstract: A recommendation system includes a content similarity analyzer configured to determine a first set of content item identifiers similar to a set of viewed content items based on respective similarity scores and add them to a first list. A similar user content extraction module identifies a set of similar user identifiers from a user similarity database; obtains, based on respective viewing histories of the set, a second set of content item identifiers; and adds them to the first list. The recommendation system includes a content filter configured to select a subset of content item identifiers from the first list based on the corresponding similarity scores between content item identifiers of the first list and a viewing history. The content filter is configured to transmit the subset of content item identifiers for display of the corresponding content items via a web portal on a user interface of a first user device.

Abstract: A catching tool assembly, and method of use, for catching an electric submersible pump string or other equipment string in a well bore in the event of a tubing failure. The catching tool is self-orienting so that the tool can be set and retrieved by simply moving the mandrel of the tool up and down, without any need to rotate the equipment string or the mandrel.

Abstract: The present disclosure is generally directed to a high temperature lubricant for use in a preheated welding wire system. The lubricant may comprise one or more high melting point materials in a concentration from 0.5 to 30 wt % by weight of the lubricant. The high melting point materials may comprise graphite, molybdenum disulfide, tungsten disulfide, or boron nitride. The lubricant is configured to remain on a welding wire electrode that has been coated with the lubricant without melting when a preheater heats the welding wire electrode to an elevated temperature (e.g., between 500 and 900 degrees Celsius). The lubricant may be a powder or a liquid. When the lubricant is a liquid, it may further comprise a solvent such as 2-proponal or water.
