  • Publication number: 20250095266
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for sampler feedback for texture space shading. A processor may assign each shading element in a set of shading elements associated with a geometry unit to a corresponding shading element group in a set of shading element groups. The processor may identify whether each shading element is a visible shading element. The processor may calculate a group offset value for each shading element group in the set of shading element groups based on a number of visible shading elements in the set of shading elements. The processor may calculate an element offset value for each shading element based on a number of visible shading elements. The processor may allocate, based on the element offset value and the group offset value, texture memory to the visible shading elements.

  • Publication number: 20250095265
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for a dicing oracle for texture space shading. A processor obtains an indication of a UV parameterization for each of a set of geometry units and a target number of pixels per region of the UV parameterization, where the UV parameterization includes a first set of UV coordinates for an object space. The processor renders the set of geometry units in order to obtain a second set of UV coordinates for a screen space and a set of derivatives for the second set of UV coordinates. The processor calculates a resolution for a mip region map based on the set of derivatives and the target number of pixels per region. The processor outputs an indication of the calculated resolution.

  • Publication number: 20250076551
Abstract: The present disclosure provides techniques to reduce or eliminate contaminants in a waveguide resulting from the waveguide fabrication process. A blocking layer is deposited on a grating layer to protect the grating layer from contamination, e.g., via diffusion, from a hardmask layer that is used to pattern the grating layer. Accordingly, the optical gratings resulting from the patterning of the grating layer have little or no contamination from the hardmask layer, thereby increasing the optical performance of the final waveguide product.

  • Publication number: 20250059610
Abstract: The disclosure provides a method for treating a subject afflicted with a tumor, e.g., lung cancer, having a high tumor mutation burden (TMB) status comprising administering to the subject an immunotherapy, e.g., an anti-PD-I antibody or antigen-binding portion thereof. The present disclosure also provides a method for identifying a subject suitable for an immunotherapy, e.g., a treatment with an anti-PD-I antibody or antigen-binding portion thereof, comprising measuring a TMB status of a biological sample of the subject. A high TMB status identifies the patient as suitable for treatment with an anti-PD-I antibody or antigen-binding portion thereof. The TMB status can be determined by sequencing nucleic acids in the tumor and identifying a genomic alteration, e.g., a somatic nonsynonymous mutation, in the sequenced nucleic acids.

  • Publication number: 20250012761
Abstract: A method of analyzing a composite structure for damage tolerance. The method includes obtaining a structural configuration and determining at least one metric of interest for the structural configuration. A dent depth meta-model is developed based on the structural configuration, the at least one metric of interest, and information obtained from a machine learning algorithm. The at least one metric of interest provides a constraint for the dent depth meta-model and the machine learning algorithm is trained based on a historical physical test dataset of a plurality of composite components. The dent depth meta-model is utilized to estimate an impact energy to establish a threshold dent depth in the structural configuration. A computer-based simulation is performed with the structural configuration utilizing the impact energy from the dent depth meta-model. At least one design value is determined for the structural configuration based on output data generated from the computer-based simulation.
