  • Publication number: 20230194870
Abstract: A system for displaying a virtual image to a user includes a light engine to generate a display light representing the virtual image, a diffractive waveguide, and an incoupler and outcoupler that are each optically coupled to the diffractive waveguide. In operation, the incoupler receives the display light from the light engine and directs the received display light to the diffractive waveguide, and the outcoupler directs at least a portion of the display light from the diffractive waveguide to an eye of the user. The diffractive waveguide is configured to converge a first component light of the generated display light at a first focal distance from the eye of the user, and to converge one or more additional component lights of the generated display light at one or more distinct other focal distances from the eye of the user.

  • Publication number: 20230168209
Abstract: A metrology system includes front and back vision components portions. The front vision components portion includes a light source, camera, variable focal length (VFL) lens, and objective lens defining an optical axis. The back vision components portion may include a reflective surface and a polarization altering component. A workpiece with apertures is located between the front and back vision components portions. For each aperture of the workpiece, the system adjusts a relative position between the front vision components portion and the workpiece to align its optical axis with each aperture such that light from the light source passes through the aperture and is reflected by the reflective surface of the back vision components portion. The system uses the VFL lens and camera to acquire an image stack including images of the aperture, and analyzes the image stack to determine a measurement related to a workpiece feature of the aperture.

  • Patent number: 11643318
Abstract: A hand-held beverage dispenser includes a handle body, within which multiple valve units are contained. Two sets of fluid flow paths are provided into the handle body. The sets of fluid flow paths are mutually exclusive one to the other. Each flow path of the first set is in fluid communication with each valve unit, whereas only a predetermined one of the second set of fluid flow paths is in fluid communication with each valve unit. Each valve unit includes a flow control valve and a selection valve. The selection valve determines on an ad hoc basis which of the first set of flow paths will be utilized at any given time, while the flow control valve provides single action simultaneous ON-OFF control of fluid flows through both the selected flow path and the predetermined flow path.

  • Publication number: 20230024602
Abstract: Embodiments provide for identifying and resolving conflicts in access permissions migrated data by receiving a set of mappings including path mappings of a hierarchy of data objects on the source system to locations on the target system for migrated data objects. Based on the received set of mappings, permissions controlling access to data objects of the hierarchy of data objects on the source system can be translated to permissions controlling access to the migrated data objects on the target system for one or more user accounts on the target system. One or more conflicts can be detected between permissions on the source system and permissions on the target system. A conflict resolution strategy can be selected from a plurality of conflict resolution strategies and the selected conflict resolution strategy can be applied to the permissions controlling access to the migrated data objects on the target system.

  • Publication number: 20230014167
Abstract: Information handling system (IHS) heatsinking systems and methods may employ a thermally conductive compression attached memory module (CAMM) bolster plate affixed to one surface of a circuit board of the CAMM, between a central processing unit (CPU) of the IHS and memory devices mounted on the CAMM, to provide compression between the CAMM and a z-axis compression connector and to capture and dissipate heat from the CPU and the memory devices. Spacing between the CPU and the DIMM may enable this capture and dissipation of heat from the CPU. The bolster plate may be configured to receive at least one conductive fastener that bears on the bolster plate and presses the CAMM to the z-axis compression connector, and to conductively thermally couple the CAMM and bolster plate to a ground plane of a system printed circuit board (PCB) mounting the CPU and the CAMM.
