  • Publication number: 20240160698
Abstract: System and methods for generating synthetic data according to a plurality of options are provided. According to a first option, synthetic data is generated based on an indication of one or more target distributions. According to a second option, a one or more target distributions are determined based on a sample data set, and synthetic data is generated based on the determined target distribution(s). According to a third option, a temporary synthetic data set is generated based on an indication of one or more target distributions, matches between the temporary synthetic data set and a sample data set are then identified, and a synthetic data set is then generated based on the identified matches. A system may automatically determine which option to leverage based on whether a user provides a sample data set, one or more target distributions, or both.

  • Publication number: 20240149482
Abstract: Systems and methods described herein are optimized for cutting sealing elements on packages using optical radiation. Packages can pass through a cutting device that applies the optical radiation to damage, vaporize, or cut the sealing element (e.g., tape) on the package. The systems and methods control several aspects of the cutting process to adjust throughput, improve efficiency, and reduce line stoppages. Systems can include an in-feed conveyor that orients packages and rejects packages that are out of specification, which can lead to issues such as jamming or damage to the equipment. Systems can include a variable-speed cut conveyor controlled by a computing system to dynamically adjust the speed of packages based upon historical cut quality, environmental measurement data, and height data related to a vertical dimension of the package.

  • Publication number: 20240076443
Abstract: Lactide compositions contain enumerated amounts of one or more impurities. The lactide compositions can be polymerized to form good quality polylactides despite the presence of these impurities. Some of the impurities pass through the polymerization process whereas some are partially or entirely removed and are therefore present in reduced quantities in the polymer if present at all. Conversely, some impurities are concentrated in the polymer.

  • Publication number: 20240078253
Abstract: An approach is disclosed herein that retrieves data from a data set that includes first column data comprising a first data type and a second data type. The approach structures the first column data into second column data and third column data based on the first data type and the second data type. The approach determines a first semantic category and a second semantic category for the first data type and the second data type, and then determines a first privacy category and a second privacy category based on the first semantic category and the second semantic category. The approach anonymizes the second column data and the third column data to produce anonymized data based on the first privacy category and the second privacy category, respectively. In turn, the approach generates an anonymized view of the data set using the anonymized data.
