  • Patent number: 6125657
Abstract: A hinged hoop-style earring where a post is curved to conform to the outside shape of the back of the earring. In this design, when the earring is closed, the post, and a protruding end of the post, substantially follows the shape of a curved outer edge of the back of the earring. Thus, the post and the protruding end of the post is no longer positioned away from the surface of the earring. Instead, it substantially lies within or adjacent to the contour the curved shape of the back half of the earring and, therefore, will not distort its aesthetical appearance and will not be dangerous.

  • Patent number: 5694791
Abstract: An article of manufacture and method for joining individual elements of a jewelry necklace or bracelet without using soldering. A connecting member, similar to a staple, is provided and metal forming processes are employed allowing the legs of the staple to pass through a hole formed between parallel rails in the respective basket settings with the legs being thereafter bent to connect and secure the respective basket settings.

  • Patent number: 4745723
Abstract: In a solarium construction, glazing is supported on glazing bars to which the glazing is clamped by means of gasket strips. The glazing bars and strips, which are interconnected are divided into complementary mirror image parts. The force which is used to connect the glazing bar parts together causes the strip parts to be forced together and this displaces the strip parts more tightly against the glazing. This enables a force which is applied within the solarium to be effective externally to fasten the glazing in position.

  • Patent number: 4646417
Abstract: A greenhouse with two gable ends formed of a framework which extends between the ends and which includes a sloped roof or eave and also includes sloped gable end bars supported atop vertical bars included in the gable ends. Wedge shaped gable adaptors of reversible configuration are inserted between the tops of the vertical bars and the lower surfaces of the sloped bars to provide a firm support for the sloped bars and a connection between the vertical and sloped bars. The vertical bars are of like configuration in cross-section and are aluminum extrusions arranged in mirror image of each other. Use of the reversible adaptors enable the same extrusion design to be used on opposite ends of the greenhouse. The adaptor structure includes prongs which are inserted into the extrusions which are hollow. The prongs have relative lengths and widths which facilitate mounting of the adaptors in the partially erected greenhouse.

  • Patent number: 4164968
Abstract: A portable tennis locker organizer which comprises in combination (a) foldable bag-like member which exposes in its unfolded position and on its interior surface; (b) a plurality of pouches and pocket compartments permanently affixed to the interior surface of said bag-like member; (c) a half moon shaped pocket with strap fastening means that is also permanently affixed to the interior surface of said bag-like means and positioned so that a tennis racket placed within said pocket will lie in a plane horizontally with respect to the vertical plane of said bag-like member in its unfolded position; (d) a cylindrical sleeve pocket contained within the interior surface of the bag-like means and of sufficient size and located opposite the half moon shape pocket so that the handle of a tennis racket may be inserted therein while the racket's head is contained within the half moon pocket.
