The cap ventilation system includes at least one spacer that when fixed to an interior or a brim of the cap, creates a gap between the interior or brim of the cap and the head of the user. If desired, a plurality of spacers may be spaced about the circumference of the interior or brim to extend the gap about the circumference of the interior or brim.
