Foam piece attached to a clip that slides onto the inside of the hat to keep head cool. is disclosed.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONProblem Solved: Hot head while wearing hats, with no air flow. Human sweating.
As stated above, Hot head while wearing hats, with no air flow. Human sweating. The invention claimed here solves this problem.
Clip attaches to the inside of the sweatband in the hat, and the foam on the other side goes against head creates an airway to keep the head cooler.
The claimed invention differs from what currently exists.
This invention is an improvement on what currently exists.

- 2. Piece of foam that attaches to clip
How the Invention Works:

- #1 Clip had tension and stays tight to sweatband
- #2 Foam attaches to clip and goes against forehead, which slightly lifts hat off forehead allowing airflow
- Step 1 grab hat sweatband firmly
- Step 2 slide clip onto sweatband
- Step 3 press clip down fully onto sweatband
How to Make the Invention:
Plastic clip is made from mold process.
Foam is cut into small pieces.
The foam may be attached to the hat by any suitable means, such as the clip, adhesive, hook and loop closure, and combinations thereof. It's possible to add air, air bags.
How to Use the Invention:
Creates gap between sweatbands of hat and head. To allow airflow and keep you cooler.
Additionally: Foam could be used in clothing to allow airflow in specific parts of clothing where people sweat. Also, airbags could be used in these areas of clothing.
Claims
1. A hat spacer comprising:
- a foam pad and
- an attachment means adhered thereto;
- wherein said attachment means is operative to removably attach the hat spacer to a sweatband component of a hat; and
- wherein the attachment means is selected from the group consisting of clip, adhesive, hook and loop closure, and combinations thereof.
