    Abstract: Systems and methods for enabling collaboration for planning changes to a communications network are provided. A method, according to one implementation, includes receiving a first branch of a provisional plan, where the first branch includes information regarding a change to at least one of a network element and services to be provided by the network element. The method also includes receiving a second branch of the provisional plan, where the second branch includes information regarding a change to at least one of the network element and the services to be provided by the network element. The method also includes determining if the first branch and the second branch are compatible with each other. In response to determining that merging the second branch with the first branch would create a conflict, the method further includes providing a resolution to the conflict.

    Abstract: There is disclosed a multi-dimensional user interface controller apparatus for providing a multi-dimensional user input. In an embodiment, the apparatus comprises a disc adapted to be tilted to control at least two-axes, and depressible in a third axis, and an outer ring surrounding the disc, the outer ring adapted to rotate about the disc to control a fourth axis. In use, the disc and the outer ring are controllable to provide at least four-axes of simultaneous control inputs. In an embodiment, the multi-dimensional user interface controller apparatus further comprises a plurality of magnetic sensors to sense the tilt of the disc or a press on the disc. In another embodiment, the disc further comprises a touch-sensitive top surface adapted to sense one or more fingers touching the surface.

    Abstract: The “Tile Installation Template” provides a total room accurate tile layout in a matter of minutes. The “Template” is a thin sheet of bendable plastic that has colored grout lines imprinted upon it for placement of tiles. The invention is used for installing ceramic tiles and provides tile cut measurements to guarantee an accurate centered layout. The Template has checker board type lines printed thereon. The lines are configured to replicate actual size of tiles and width of grout areas. The lines also contain ruler measurements to provide tile cut sizes. The Template is laid on the floor, centered and trimmed so each end across from the other has approximately the same measurement against its endpoint (wall) thus guaranteeing an accurate layout. The Template is secured with large head nails or staples. The Template also contains holes to allow the glue to adhere to the tile and the floor.
