  • Patent number: 11723585
Abstract: Example implants, systems and methods using sensors for orthopedic surgical assessment and/or planning are described herein. An example system can include a wearable sensor device for pre-operative use by a patient before an orthopedic surgery to generate pre-operative sensor data. The system can also include an implantable sensor device (e.g., a bone implant) to generate and aggregate post-operative sensor data associated with the patient after the surgery. The system can retrieve the pre-operative sensor data and the post-operative sensor data and predict, analyze or assess an outcome of the surgery.

  • Patent number: 11716288
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for orchestrating data center resources and user access to data. In some examples, a system can determine, at a first time, that a user will need, at a second time, access to data stored at a first location, from a second location. The system can identify a node which is capable of storing the data and accessible by a device from the second location. The system can also determine a first service parameter associated with a network connection between the device and the first location and a second service parameter associated with a network connection between the device and the node. When the second service parameter has a higher quality than the first service parameter, the system can migrate the data from the first location to the node so the device has access to the data from the second location through the node.

  • Patent number: 11711288
Abstract: A network device receives a data packet including a source address and a destination address. The network device drops the data packet before it reaches the destination address and generates an error message indicating that the data packet has been dropped. The network device encapsulates the error message with a segment routing header comprising a list of segments. The first segment of the list of segments in the segment routing header identifies a remote server, and at least one additional segment is an instruction for handling the error message. The network device sends the encapsulated error message to the remote server based on the first segment of the segment routing header.

  • Publication number: 20230229596
Abstract: Indirect prefetch circuitry initiates a producer prefetch requesting return of producer data having a producer address and at least one consumer prefetch to request prefetching of consumer data having a consumer address derived from the producer data. A producer prefetch filter table stores producer filter entries indicative of previous producer addresses of previous producer prefetches. Initiation of a requested producer prefetch for producer data having a requested producer address is suppressed when a lookup of the producer prefetch filter table determines that the requested producer address hits against a producer filter entry of the table. The lookup of the producer prefetch filter table for the requested producer address depends on a subset of bits of the requested producer address including at least one bit which distinguishes different chunks of data within a same cache line.

  • Patent number: 11703364
Abstract: A fluid discharge event detection apparatus measures a change in capacitance to detect the presence of a fluid in a sensing conduit where the presence of fluid indicates a discharge event. The apparatus includes a first conduit, the sensing conduit and a control valve, coupled between the first conduit and the sensing conduit. The control valve is configured to activate and fluidly couple the first conduit and the sensing conduit to one another when the control valve detects at least one predetermined condition of a fluid within the first conduit. A sensor, configured to measure a capacitance value, is disposed about the sensing conduit. A controller, coupled to the sensor, is configured to detect a change in the sensing conduit capacitance value and assert an alarm condition upon detection of the change in the sensing conduit capacitance value.

  • Patent number: 11698911
Abstract: A processor may receive a request with a column-oriented operation. The query request may be related to updates to a row-oriented database based on the query request previously performed on the row-oriented database. The processor may determine the amount of time for replicating the updates to a column-oriented database. If the amount of time for replicating the updates to the column-oriented database is greater than a threshold amount of time, then the processor may create a transient file with the updates. The transient file may be in a format that is recognized by the column-oriented database. The processor may query the column-oriented database based on the query request and the transient file.

  • Publication number: 20230215489
Abstract: The application relates to an architecture that allows for less precision of demarcation read voltages by combining two physical memory cells into a single logical bit. Reciprocal binary values may be written into the two memory cells that make up a memory pair. When activated using bias circuitry and address decoders the memory cell pair creates current paths having currents that may be compared to detect a differential signal. The application is also directed to writing and reading memory cell pairs.

  • Patent number: 11693666
Abstract: A predicated-loop-terminating branch instruction controls, based on whether a loop termination condition is satisfied, whether the processing circuitry should process a further iteration of a predicated loop body or process a following instruction. If at least one unnecessary iteration of the predicated loop body is processed following a mispredicted-non-termination branch misprediction when the loop termination condition is mispredicted as unsatisfied for a given iteration when it should have been satisfied, processing of the at least one unnecessary iteration of the predicated loop body is predicated to suppress an effect of the at least one unnecessary iteration.

  • Publication number: 20230206890
Abstract: A processor-based method of producing a generative musical composition is disclosed herein. The method includes the step of receiving a briefing narrative which describes a musical journey by referencing a plurality of emotional descriptions related to a plurality of musical sections. The generative musical composition is assembled with regard to the briefing narrative through the selection and concatenation of Form Atoms with tags that align with the emotional descriptions related to the musical sections. The Form Atoms, which have compositional nature aligned with the emotional descriptions and self-contained constructional properties representative of the historical corpus of music, are then selected and substituted into the generative composition.

  • Publication number: 20230193333
Abstract: The invention relates to norcoclaurine synthases and substrate binding sites having one or more site-specific mutation which increase the activity, when compared to the wild type synthase, of the condensation of 4-HPAA and dopamine to (S)-norcoclaurine and/or 3,4-DhPAA and dopamine to (S)-norlaudanosoline. The inventors both identified specific mutations corresponding to at position 73, 75, 77, 82, 99, 114, 141, 142, 147, 152, 174 and/or 178 in the count according to SEQ ID No: 1, and sites corresponding to the binding domains defined in SEQ ID NO: 4 and 5, where the mutated increase of the activity may be positioned within these norcoclaurine synthases. These domains are conserved regions.

  • Publication number: 20230197041
Abstract: A Form Atom defined by self-contained constructional properties representing a historical corpus of music and contained within metadata of the Form Atom is disclosed. The Form Atom has a generative set of heuristics to support generation of a set of chords in a chord scheme or many different sets of chords. The generated chords are spaced out within a defined window of musical time by chord spacer heuristics. The Form Atom has a tag describing its compositional heuristics. A chord list of the Form Atom is provided in local tonic and defines branching structures that may be used for the generation of different chords from the local tonic. A progression descriptor is combined with a form function such that the Form Atom expresses musically a question, an answer and a statement. A meta-map of a chord scheme for a musical section is created from the metadata.
