  • Publication number: 20200202460
Abstract: In general, intelligent fuel dispensers are provided. In at least some implementations, an intelligent fuel dispenser can determine customer identities and/or other characteristics and provide customized fueling sessions based on the determined customer identities and/or other characteristics. In at least some implementations, the fuel dispenser includes a touchless interface allowing customers to complete fueling sessions with minimal physical contact with the fuel dispenser.

  • Publication number: 20200193745
Abstract: A system for remotely locking and unlocking multiple storage units simultaneously or selectively (e.g. cabinet doors & drawers). The system works via a plurality of electromagnetic locking devices (“linear electromagnetic actuators”) coupled to the controller. The system further comprises a remote control unit wirelessly coupled to the controller. The remote control unit sends instructions to the controller to lock/unlock the electromagnetic locking devices to facilitate the locking and unlocking of any particular electromagnetic device associated with the controller. The linear electromagnetic actuator can incorporate electromagnets in addition to (or in lieu of) linear electromagnets and may utilize push/pull linear electromagnetic actuators. In some instances, the system may require a linear electromagnetic actuator with an angled lock looking style like a door latch/lock that slides onto the hole-port location; a magnet style can be utilized as well.

  • Publication number: 20200140255
Abstract: Fuel dispensers, systems and methods are provided for electronically transmitting data characterizing fueling transactions in a fueling environment, and in particular from a fuel dispenser. In an exemplary embodiment, a fuel dispenser is provided having a printer module that can perform operations that enable any one or more of replacing a printer, providing a user with a printed transaction record at a remote location, and/or provide the user with an electronic transaction record. The application of the printer module can facilitate providing a user with a printed and/or electronic transaction record, while minimizing, or eliminating, changes to standard communication protocol associated with components of a payment terminal that can deliver formatted transaction data to a typical printer.

  • Patent number: 10614427
Abstract: A system for monetizing deployment of building management software configured to operate an HVAC device includes one or more processors coupled to non-transitory memory. The one or more processors are configured to create a service task for a field technician including information identifying the building management software to be installed on an end device. The one or more processors are further configured to generate a unique product key and attach the unique product key to the service task, transmit the service task to a field technician platform configured to be accessed by the field technician, validate bound data received from the field technician platform, the bound data comprising end device fingerprint information and the unique product key. The one or more processors are further configured to generate a license file configured to complete installation of the building management software.

  • Patent number: 10199914
Abstract: The invention is a high torque and energy efficient electric motor. With a larger diameter shaft and shortened length, the design of the motor is pancaked. With high torque, the electric motor can operate efficiently by taking advantage of repelling and attracting forces from magnetic fields. Two embodiments of the invention for the high torque motor are designed to be energy efficient utilizing lifting design electromagnets, and low current flow in relation to the magnetic field produced is a key element of the invention.
