Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an injection device, in particular a micro dose injection device such as, for example, an ophthalmic injection device. An example device comprises a rotatable plunger; a solution receptacle having a first end configured to slidably receive the rotatable plunger and a second end configured to dispense solution contained in the solution receptacle; a first stop member configured to prevent the rotatable plunger from being slidably displaced to a second position while the rotatable plunger is at a first position and in a first orientation; and a second stop member configured to prevent the rotatable plunger from rotating in a first direction about the first axis while the rotatable plunger is at the first position and in the first orientation, wherein slidably displacing the rotatable plunger from the first position to the second position dispenses a quantity of the solution contained in the solution receptacle.

Abstract: A ground traversing, electrically driven drone travels along a programmed path that corresponds to pass catcher's travel path during a play, matching the pass catcher's speed and run cuts. The play is wirelessly communicated to the drone by a handheld electronic device located remote of the drone. A target is located on the drone so that a quarterback can throw a football at the target in order to refine the quarterback's timing and accuracy for the play. Sensors located remote of the drone track both the football's and quarterback's speed and travel trajectories so that such data can be collected, along with the drone's travel path, and transmitted to the computer and eventually fed into 3-D reconstruction software for analysis by the quarterback and coaching staff. The target rotates so that the target either faces in a fixed direction or constantly faces the quarterback during execution of drone's maneuvers.

Abstract: In one example, a method of designing a drill bit comprises obtaining a baseline orientation of a shaped cutter with respect to a bit body. The shaped cutter includes a shaped cutting element secured to a substrate. The baseline orientation is defined, at least in part, with respect to an rotational position of the shaped cutting element about a longitudinal axis of the shaped cutter. A wear imbalance is determined between opposing portions of the shaped cutting element at the baseline orientation. An adjusted orientation of the shaped cutter is generated having a different rotational position of the shaped cutting element about the cutter axis expected to reduce the wear imbalance.

The passage has an inlet at a first region and an outlet at a second region. When the aircraft component is in operation the first region is at a greater pressure than the second region such that air flows through the passage from the inlet to the outlet. The removable collector is configured to retain constituents from the air and to react with the media designed to mimic corrosion effects seen at higher temperatures on engine parts. The constituents can then be characterized and correlated to engine deterioration to predict maintenance activity.

Abstract: A method includes: receiving, by a computing device, an input generated by a user touching a location on a touch-sensitive edge; determining whether a display contains a window split; when the display contains the window split, determining, in response to the input, whether the location is within a predefined proximity of the window split; when the location is within the predefined proximity of the window split, repositioning the window split on the display based on the input. When the display does not contain the window split, and when the location is not within the predefined proximity of the window split, a new window split can be created on the display, in response to the input, based on the location.

The isolation seals include an elastomer body configured to be attached to a first case structure at a first end and a second case structure at a second end and a seal shield configured to be attached to the first case structure, the seal shield having a shielding member configured to define a protected space between the shielding member and the elastomer body.

Abstract: A system and method for providing dynamic pay-for-placement advertisements via graphics-enabled email that generates a display of advertisements when the email newsletter is opened so the advertisements displayed are based on rankings at the time the email is opened instead of when the email was generated and transmitted. In one embodiment, a graphical-content email having one or more embedded advertisement image references is provided to one or more email recipients. The advertisement image reference, in one embodiment, may include query string parameters indicating the context of the image reference and/or portion of the image reference (i.e., identifying the image reference as being part of a particular newsletter email), a position of the image reference in the email display, and the like. A URL reference also may be included with each advertisement image reference (.e.g., one URL for each advertisement portion of the image to be retrieved by the advertising image reference).

A distance is defined between an axial outer end of the nacelle, and a leading edge of the fan blade. An anti-icing treatment is provided to an inner periphery of the nacelle over at least 75% of the distance along the inner periphery of the nacelle.

Abstract: A transformable teething toy comprising a first hub and a second hub. Resilient flexible rods connect the first hub to the second hub such that the inner surfaces of the first and second hubs are oriented to face towards each other. The teething toy is further transformable between an open position and a closed position. In the open position, the first and second hubs are spaced apart from each other by the resilient flexible rods to form an expanded structure. The system and method may identify, for the at least one scene element, at least one relationship that corresponds to at least one UI layout pattern, generate a modified UI layout pattern for the at least one scene element using different relationships than the identified at least one relationship, and trigger display of the AR content associated with the information and the at least one scene element using the modified UI layout pattern.

At least one of the logical relationships between the panels for the user interface is determined to match a logical relationship corresponding to a particular interface pattern. The particular interface pattern is selected from among the set of interface patterns to specify the arrangement of the panels of the user interface. Abstract: A gas turbine engine assembly according to an exemplary embodiment of this disclosure includes, among other possible things, a plurality of fan blades rotatable about a fan rotation axis; a fan nacelle at least partially surrounding the plurality of fan blades, the fan nacelle defining an inlet; at least one sensor positioned forward of the fan nacelle, the at least one sensor generating a signal indicative of an airflow condition entering the inlet; an effector that is actuatable to accommodate distortions in inlet airflow; and a controller receiving the signal from the at least one sensor and determining an inlet distortion condition corresponding to the signal indicative of an airflow condition and actuating the effector based on the identified inlet distortion condition.

Abstract: A turbofan engine includes a fan section. A core engine section drives the fan section. An outer nacelle surrounds the fan section and defines a radially outer surface of a fan duct. An inner nacelle surrounds the core engine section and defines a radially inner surface of the fan duct. A nozzle is disposed at a terminal end of the outer nacelle that defines an exit area for bypass air flow through the fan duct. The nozzle includes a convergent portion forward of a divergent portion and a turning angle for the divergent portion greater than about 12 degrees. A nacelle assembly and method are also disclosed.
