Abstract: A chaotic physical true random number generator and the generation method associated therewith. The generator includes a resonator 2, an analog-to-digital converter configured to convert an analog signal originating from the resonator into a digital signal 104, a digital processing device configured to generate a sequence of true random numbers on the basis of the digital signal 104, and a device for exciting the resonator configured to excite the resonator with a determined excitation signal to set it in a dynamic multi-stability mode, and modulate the excitation signal, so that the resonant physical component has a chaotic behaviour and that the analog signal is representative of the chaotic behaviour of the resonator. A gain in terms of simplicity of implementation, bulk and/or manufacturing cost is thus achieved for making physical true random number generators in one or more embodiments.

Abstract: The device will provide limited power generation in a self-contained unit that will be used for temporary purposes. A battery that produces direct current will be installed. The direct current will be converted to alternating current to power devices that depend on alternating current. An inverter circuit is provided to make the necessary conversion from direct current to alternating current that is required to provide power to devices that use alternating current.

Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying a condition associated with an individual in a home environment are provided. Sensors associated with the home environment detect data, which is captured and analyzed by a local or remote processor to identify the condition. In some instances, the sensors are configured to capture data indicative of electricity use by devices associated with the home environment, including, e.g., which devices are using electricity, what date/time electricity is used by each device, how long each device uses electricity, and/or the power source for the electricity used by each device. The processor analyzes the captured data to identify any abnormalities or anomalies, and, based upon any identified abnormalities or anomalies, the processor determines a condition (e.g., a medical condition) associated with an individual in the home environment. The processor generates and transmits a notification indicating the condition associated with the individual to a caregiver of the individual.

The stock inventory processing device determines a restocking value based on whether the historic daily sales value exceeds the stock inventory value. The stock inventory processing device transmits a second indication to the mobile inventory processing device, The second indication correspond to insufficient shelf stock of the perishable item. The mobile inventory processing device receives the second indication and outputs an auditory alert in response to the second indication.

Abstract: A bundle breaker includes first and second platens located above upstream and downstream breaking supports and first and second actuators configured to move the platens to selectively clamp logs between the platens and the breaking supports. A third actuator moves the second breaking support relative to the first breaking support to break bundles off the log. A foam sheet is attached to the bottom of each of the first and second platens and is configured to be compressed when the logs are clamped.
