Abstract: A diagnostic tool includes a processor, display, and memory storing instructions to perform scan tool functions (STF) including transmitting a message to a vehicle. The STF include first STF for a first system of the vehicle. Additional stored instructions are executable to display a first user-interface screen (UIS) including a first user-selectable control (USC) including an indicator of a first scanner job performable on the vehicle, and to display a second UIS instead of the first UIS in response to a selection of the first USC. The second UIS incudes: a second USC including an indicator of the first STF for the first system of the vehicle, and guidance for performing a procedure of the first scanner job. The stored instructions are executable to transmit a first vehicle data message to a component of the first system in response to a selection of the second USC.

  • Publication number: 20230266103
Abstract: An electronic dartboard apparatus with an “in-play” scoring area that includes a plurality of narrow concentric circular areas, as well as a plurality of narrow straight-line areas which extend from the innermost circular area, through the interior circular areas, to the outermost circular area. The outermost circular area serves to distinguish between the “in-play” and “out-of-play” areas. The distinct color of the narrow concentric circular and straight-line areas makes them distinguishable from the rest of the board, creating very clear boundaries between all the other scoring areas that make up the “in-play” area. Both the narrow circular and straight-line areas are flush with the rest of the dartboard, and include scoring holes identical to those throughout the entire “in-play” area, thus making the “in-play” surface one continuous, very precise scoring area, where darts no longer bounce off the board, and fail to register the proper score.

  • Publication number: 20230266479
Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for verifying a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) space vehicle (SV) signal. An extremely weak frame synchronization (EWFS) verification process is run on a current SV signal with respect to another verified SV signal. An indication is set that frame synchronization for the current SV signal is complete after full frame synchronization occurs based on a peak EWFS correlation value of the current SV signal being equal to or greater than a first threshold. The indication may be set early based on the peak EWFS correlation value of the current SV signal being greater than a second threshold value that is greater than the first threshold. Tracking of the current SV signal may be terminated early based on the peak EWFS correction value of the current SV signal being less than a third threshold that is less that the first threshold.

  • Publication number: 20230269242
Abstract: The present embodiments relate to providing near real-time communications from a public network to a private network. A first computing device in a public network can obtain data packets to be provided to the private network from an application executing on the first computing device. A trust module executed by the first computing device can authenticate the user, application, and the data packets to be provided to the private network and add metadata relating to the sending user, recipient user, etc. The data packets can be forwarded to the private network via a cross-domain system (CDS). The metadata and the digital signature on the data packets can be verified by a trust module executing on a second computing device in the private network. The second computing device can receive the data packets and store the data packets for subsequent actions to be performed in the private network.

  • Publication number: 20230266662
Abstract: Vacuum-integrated photoresist-less methods and apparatuses for forming metal hardmasks can provide sub-30 nm patterning resolution. A metal-containing (e.g., metal salt or organometallic compound) film that is sensitive to a patterning agent is deposited on a semiconductor substrate. The metal-containing film is then patterned directly (i.e., without the use of a photoresist) by exposure to the patterning agent in a vacuum ambient to form the metal mask. For example, the metal-containing film is photosensitive and the patterning is conducted using sub-30 nm wavelength optical lithography, such as EUV lithography.

  • Publication number: 20230264824
Abstract: A flying vehicle with a battery pack associated with each propulsion module, not centrally located, that is plug and play, meaning it can be easily removed by hand and swapped with any other battery of same model and serial number and used within a propulsion module to power the propulsion system. The system includes battery management modules for monitoring battery pack voltage and evenly re-distributes power across all independent battery packs keeping each pack within relative voltage of each other. The packs within the vehicle are monitored for balancing so one pack cannot become too low in power as to not operate while the vehicle's other packs are still working.

  • Publication number: 20230267696
Abstract: Techniques for responsive video canvas generation are described to impart three-dimensional effects based on scene geometry to two-dimensional digital objects in a two-dimensional design environment. A responsive video canvas, for instance, is generated from input data including a digital video and scene data. The scene data describes a three-dimensional representation of an environment and includes a plurality of planes. A visual transform is generated and associated with each plane to enable digital objects to interact with the underlying scene geometry. In the responsive video canvas, an edit positioning a two-dimensional digital object with respect to a particular plane of the responsive video canvas is received. A visual transform associated with the particular plane is applied to the digital object and is operable to align the digital object to the depth and orientation of the particular plane. Accordingly, the digital object includes visual features based on the three-dimensional representation.
