  • Publication number: 20230096024
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and processes to perform passive and realtime software identification and data collection for vulnerability management. Vulnerability management based on agent-collected event data involves monitoring a process start event associated with an application executing on a computing device that is part of a network, identifying a binary location of the process start event, and based on the binary location, identifying a software type of the application and a version of the software type. Vulnerability management based on event data in logs involves monitoring the process start event for configuration or file changes, generating fingerprint rules by mapping the configuration or files changes and the process start event associated with a software installation or an upgrade of the software, and processing log data to fingerprint the software type and the version of the software type.

  • Publication number: 20230095561
Abstract: A system of automatically refueled liquid fuel burning torches includes a central fuel reservoir and a pump interconnected with the torches by a fuel plumbing system. When the fuel reaches a lower level in the torches, the plumbing system is automatically pressurized by the pump so that the fuel flows through the plumbing system to raise the fuel to a higher level in the local torch reservoirs. The refueling can be controlled by level sensors and valves in the torches. A remotely operated wick seal can exclude air from torch interiors and prevent fuel spills. A central controller and/or local torch controllers can be powered by wires and/or by batteries, which can be recharged by solar power. The controllers can be wirelessly monitored and/or controlled by software running on a remote device. The remote device and software can control a plurality of the systems.

Abstract: Described herein are systems and techniques for implementing a third-party item tracking and payment system that enables a user to walk out without a manual checkout process. The techniques include receiving user identifying information associated with a payment account and conveying an identifier of the account to a management system of the retailer. Items, as selected by the user, are added to a virtual cart that is checked out automatically when the user exits the store and the third party system communicates the cart contents to the retailer for cost calculation and then instructs payment using the stored payment information without disrupting existing inventory and account management systems.

  • Publication number: 20230096478
Abstract: A method of operating a magnetic resonance scanner includes determining a radio frequency (RF) pulse to be transmitted to jointly homogenize a flip angle and a semisolid saturation that would result from magnetization of a sample to be scanned by the MR scanner using the determined RF pulse. The method also includes controlling an RF transmit coil of the MR scanner to transmit the determined pulse. Homogenizing both semisolid saturation and excitation properties of the RF pulse allows for improved magnetic transfer ratio imaging.

  • Publication number: 20230099334
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for selecting a pull-over location using machine learning. One of the methods includes obtaining data specifying a target pull-over location for an autonomous vehicle travelling on a roadway. A plurality of candidate pull-over locations in a vicinity of the target pull-over location are identified. For each candidate pull-over location, an input that includes features of the candidate pull-over location is processed using a machine learning model to generate a respective likelihood score representing a predicted likelihood that the candidate pull-over location is an optimal location. The features of the candidate pull-over location include one or more features that compare the candidate pull-over location to the target pull-over location. Using the respective likelihood scores, one of the candidate pull-over locations is selected as an actual pull-over location for the autonomous vehicle.
