  • Patent number: 11345378
Abstract: A vehicle control system includes a controller that communicates between a first vehicle and a second vehicle and/or a monitoring device in a vehicle system. The controller determines a communication loss and, responsive to determining the communication loss, switches to communicating via a different communication path. The controller also determines an operational restriction on movement of the vehicle system based on the communication loss that is determined, obtains a transitional plan that designates operational settings of the vehicle system at one or more different locations along a route being traveled by the vehicle system, different distances along the route being traveled by the vehicle system, and/or different times. The controller automatically changes the movement of the vehicle system according to the operational settings designated by the transitional plan to reduce the movement of the vehicle system to or below the operational restriction.

  • Patent number: 11346751
Abstract: A computing system receives a request for computer-generated likelihood(s) for candidate evaluations of an industrial product set according to a measurement system analysis (MSA). The MSA comprises tests for evaluating, according to a measurement standard, the industrial product set. The request indicates a metric set representing metric(s) each quantifying an estimate of contribution to variation in evaluating the industrial product set according to the MSA. The system generates a design comprising a respective input set for each test of the MSA. The respective input set comprises setting(s) for conducting a test of the MSA. The design is designed to isolate candidate sources for contributing to the variation in evaluating the industrial product set according to the MSA. The system (e.g., prior to the MSA) outputs, based on the metric set and the design, the computer-generated likelihood(s) for the candidate evaluations of the industrial product set according to the MSA.

  • Patent number: 11347510
Abstract: A stream of data is accessed from a memory system by an autonomous memory access engine, converted on the fly by the memory access engine, and then presented to a processor for data processing. A portion of a lookup table (LUT) containing converted data elements is preloaded into a lookaside buffer associated with the memory access engine. As the stream of data elements is fetched from the memory system each data element in the stream of data elements is replaced with a respective converted data element obtained from the LUT in the lookaside buffer according to a content of each data element to thereby form a stream of converted data elements. The stream of converted data elements is then propagated from the memory access engine to a data processor.

  • Patent number: 11345554
Abstract: Apparatuses and methods herein may be configured to utilize existing high speed assembly lines with dedicated packaging apparatuses to assemble various kinds of packages of absorbent articles. Absorbent articles advancing from an assembly line are diverted before reaching a dedicated packaging apparatus. The diverted absorbent articles are transported to a selectable packaging apparatus to be placed in containers containing desired quantities and/or types of absorbent articles to create select packages. Carriers are movably connected with a track, wherein a linear synchronous motor independently moves the carriers along the track. Diverted absorbent articles are transferred to a carrier in a receiving zone, and the diverted absorbent articles are moved along the track from the receiving zone to a drop off zone. The diverted absorbent articles are then transferred from the carrier in the drop off zone to a selectable packaging apparatus.

  • Patent number: 11349938
Abstract: A non-MNO PSP network maintains a table that maps external subscriber identifiers of UEs to intermediate subscriber identifiers of the UEs on an interface between the non-MNO PSP network and NHN(s). The non-MNO PSP network obtains an SCEF-related message including either an external subscriber identifier or an intermediate subscriber identifier for the UE. Using the table, the non-MNO PSP network forwards the SCEF-message to a serving NHN or to an external application. In another embodiment, an NHN maintains a table that maps internal identifiers of UEs within the NHN to intermediate subscriber identifiers that identify the UEs on an interface between the NHN and non-MNO PSP(s). The NHN obtains an SCEF-related message that includes an intermediate subscriber identifier or an internal identifier for the UE. Using the table, the NHN either processes the SCEF-related message within the NHN, or forwards the SCEF-related message to a non-MNO PSP outside the NHN.

Abstract: A method executed by a computing device includes determining to update an entigen group within a knowledge database, where the entigen group includes a set of linked entigens that represent knowledge associated with an object. The method further includes determining a set of identigens for each word of a phrase associated with the object to produce sets of identigens. The method further includes interpreting the sets of identigens to determine a most likely meaning interpretation of the phrase and produce a new entigen group. The method further includes updating the entigen group utilizing the new entigen group to produce a curated entigen group such that a deficiency of the entigen group is resolved providing more accurate and more complete knowledge of the object.
