Abstract: Single band and multiband wireless antennas are an important element of wireless systems. Competing tradeoffs of overall footprint, performance aspects such as impedance matching and cost require not only consideration but become significant when multiple antenna elements are employed within a single antenna such as to obtain circular polarization transmit and/or receive. Accordingly, it would be beneficial to provide designers of a wide range of electrical devices and systems with compact single or multiple frequency band antennas which, in addition to providing the controlled radiation pattern and circular polarization purity (where required) are impedance matched without substantially increasing the footprint of the antenna and/or the complexity of the microwave/RF circuit interfaced to them, whilst supporting multiple signals to/from multiple antenna elements in antennas employing them.

Storing a portion of the data locally on the user's device may be able to get around potential bandwidth issues if a user can place wagers on the server when there are no latency issues, but if there are latency issues, the user may place the wager on the communication device and send the placed wager to the server once there are no more latency issues.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems may support flexible waveform configuration for autonomous uplink transmissions. A base station may transmit broadcast signaling (e g , a system information block (SIB)) indicating waveform configuration information for an autonomous uplink transmission by a user equipment (UE). In some cases, the broadcast signaling may include a waveform configuration field (WCF) that may indicate whether flexible waveforms for autonomous uplink are supported, may configure a waveform type, may indicate waveform configuration mapping rules, etc. As such, a UE may identify whether flexible waveform configuration for autonomous uplink is supported, and may determine waveform types for autonomous uplink transmissions based on waveform type configuration information from a base station (e.g., which may include an indication of whether flexible waveform configuration is supported, an indication of waveform type/scenario mapping rules, etc.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for a user to propose a wager to the house by allowing the user to input wager criteria for a specific wager market, such as a dollar amount or desired odds, and allowing a wagering network to offer the wager criteria to a plurality of sportsbooks to bid on the wager criteria by sending wager parameters, such as odds for the dollar amount or a maximum dollar amount for the user's desired odds, and allowing the user to select from a plurality of wager parameters and confirming the proposed wager.

Abstract: A self contained, 1 V to 550 V powered UVC device used to sterilize spaces like vehicle cabins or indoor rooms or spaces, while providing the ability to monitor both pre and post sterilization. While operating, the device would collect, on suitable gathering/testing media, both air that has been sterilized, and unsterilized air that passes through the media, allowing the media to be tested for the presence of both active pathogens that have not yet been killed from the device, as well as killed pathogens in the sterilized area. The UVC and media components may be integrated into one unit, or be powered and used both in combination, or as separate devices performing the sterilization and the sampling media. At the termination of UVC sterilization, additional different media has the now sterilized cabin or room air circulated through it, and with further media testing and evaluation, the efficiency/effectiveness of the sterilization process can be audited, and system operators can be advised.

Abstract: A beverage preparation machine having an inlet arrangement and a gasket arrangement is provided, where the inlet arrangement is configured with a plurality of inlet ports to deliver liquid to a beverage cartridge. The gasket arrangement may include a plurality of openings, wherein each of the plurality of inlet ports is received within one of the plurality of openings. The gasket arrangement may be integrally formed and may include one or more ribs disposed about each of the plurality of openings. A perimeter rib may extend along a perimeter of the gasket arrangement.

Abstract: A liquid concentrate generation system may comprise a manifold having an inlet receptacle including a first piercing member, an outlet receptacle including a second piercing member, and a flow channel connecting the inlet receptacle and outlet receptacle. The system may further comprise a cartridge having an inlet port and an outlet port sealed by a respective first and second cover. The inlet and outlet port may be respectively configured to displace within the inlet receptacle and outlet receptacle from an unspiked position to a spiked position. First and second piercing members may be in communication with the flow channel and spaced apart respectively from the first and second cover in the unspiked position. The first and second piercing members may be isolated from the flow channel and may respectively puncture the first and second cover in the spiked position.

Abstract: A post-cure inflation machine for processing a tire may include a tire holder shaft. The tire holder shaft may include a chuck to secure the tire to the tire holder shaft. A hollow passage may be defined in the tire holder shaft. A spray nozzle may be connected to a spray shaft that is telescopically disposed in the hollow passage of the tire holder shaft. The spray nozzle may extend to spray an air barrier material onto the tire.

Abstract: An optical power detection system comprises a sensor and a reader. The sensor is configured to detect light in the cladding of an optical fiber. The sensor is positioned both within a ferrule of the optical fiber and proximate the cladding. The sensor is additionally configured to produce an output signal representative of the detected light. The reader is electrically coupled to the sensor and is configured to receive the sensor output signal. The reader is additionally configured to operation on the output signal to produce a corresponding visual and/or audible indication of the optical power in the optical fiber.

Abstract: Methods and systems for generating drug repurposing predictions for a disease caused by a pathogen, such as a novel pathogen, are provided. A multi-modal system includes a protein-protein interaction network (PPI), a graph neural network (GNN), a diffusion module, a proximity module, and an aggregation module. The GNN is configured to predict new edges between candidate drug nodes and disease nodes in an embedded representation of the PPI to produce a decoded embedding space. The diffusion module is configured to determine a proximity distance for pairs of nodes in the PPI, and the proximity module is configured to determine a proximity distance for pairs of nodes in the PPI, each pair comprising a pathogen-protein node and a drug-protein node. A ranked list of candidate drugs predicted to be effective in treatment of the disease based on candidate drug lists generated by the other modules is generated by the aggregation module.

The cap panel assembly may include a cap panel, a puffing member attached to each edge of the cap panel, and a cap panel insert. The cap panel insert is fastened to the cap panel using pins. The cap panel insert can include a frame, fabric, filler, and a backing board. The cap panel insert can include elastic or ribbon-shaped straps positioned on a front face of the cap panel insert. The elastic or ribbon-shaped straps can be positioned in a lattice or grid-like arrangement. The cap panel insert can include a mounting bracket or a screw and wire assembly for mounting the cap panel insert on a wall.

Abstract: A refuse vehicle includes a body defining a storage compartment, a packer, a hydraulic system, a pressure sensor, and a controller. The hydraulic system includes a first pump and a second pump are configured to supply fluid power to a packer actuator. The packer actuator is coupled to the packer and the body and is positioned to move the packer to compact refuse within the storage compartment. The pressure sensor indicates a measured pressure a first fluid associated with the first pump or a second fluid associated with the second pump. The controller is configured to control the hydraulic system to supply fluid power to the packer actuator to move the packer. The controller is further configured to determine that (a) one or more other vehicle functions are active or (b) the measured pressure exceeds a threshold pressure. The controller is further configured to reduce the fluid power supplied to the packer actuator in response to the determination.

Abstract: A proppant container facilitates the transportation of wet sand for use in a hydraulic fracturing operation. The proppant container is provided with a system for dislodging the wet sand for subsequent use. This may be done by use of a vibrator or an umbrella valve. In another aspect, the proppant container may be used in combination with a rack having a wash system that slurries the proppant for delivery to a blender tub without necessarily resorting to use of a conveyor belt.

Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for bone stabilization, especially ulna head stabilization. The stabilization system may include a bone plate having an elongated portion extending along a longitudinal axis between a proximal end and a distal end. The bone plate defines a plurality of through holes extending through the elongated portion. A plurality of fasteners are configured to extend through one or more of the plurality of through holes in the bone plate and configured to secure the bone plate to the bone. The proximal end of the elongate portion has an arcuate configuration.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of calculating the odds of a sports play using data fidelity by using a historical database and extracting the most recent play data and the previous play data, and comparing the extracted play to a set of rules to determine if the data is accurate and should be used to calculate wagering odds or if the data is inaccurate or contains an error which prompts action by the system, such as suspending the current wager market until the data that is received is accurate. Also, the method provides a method of calculating the odds of a sports play using data fidelity by using a historical database and extracting the most recent wager market data or wager odds data and the previous wager market data or wager odd data and compares the data to a set of rules to determine if the data is accurate and if not notifying an administrator of the wagering network or wagering platform of a systematic error or issue.

Abstract: Methods for targeting a tumor antigen for immunotherapy based on HLA allele type and the mutations present in the tumor antigen are presented. A patient's HLA allele type and a tumor antigen derived from a mutation in cancer driver gene can be matched with a majority allele type having a minimum affinity to the same tumor antigen or with those of a plurality of patients with a history of cancer treatment. Upon matching, a cancer treatment against the tumor antigen can be selected and administered to the patient to achieve a desired effect.

Abstract: Embodiments are described for a high-frequency waveguide that improves the performance of large-scale surround sound and immersive audio environments. A horn waveguide is configured to be asymmetric about one of a vertical axis and horizontal axis of the waveguide to form an asymmetric horn waveguide. A spherical enclosure surrounds the asymmetric horn waveguide to form a horn speaker, and a three-axis mounting system is configured to fix the horn speaker to one of a wall or ceiling surface of the venue, wherein the mounting system facilitates rotating the horn speaker to a location that provides maximum coverage of the venue within the passband of the asymmetric horn waveguide.

Abstract: A system may include a vehicle for delivering items and a moveable track that cooperates with the vehicle. The moveable track may cooperate with a storage system having storage locations for storing items. The vehicle may drive into the moveable track and lift the track using a vertical drive mechanism. The vehicle may include a horizontal drive system operable to drive the vehicle horizontally along the ground to carry the moveable track to a position adjacent the storage location. The vehicle may operate the vertical drive system to drop the moveable track adjacent the storage system. Additionally, the vehicle may operate the vertical drive to drive up the moveable track to an elevated position adjacent one of the storage locations in the storage system. The vehicle may include a transfer mechanism for transferring items between the vehicle and the storage location while the vehicle is in the elevated position.
