  • Patent number: 12190339
Abstract: A survey distribution system receives a selection of a first subset of a user population. For example, an administrator of the system may select one or more user attributes of the users among the user population. In response, the survey distribution system identified the first subset of users based on the selected attributes. In some example embodiments, the administrator of the system may additionally define a maximum or minimum number of users to be exposed to the content, as well as targeting parameters for the content, such as a period of time in which to distribute the content to the first subset of users, as well as location criteria, such that the content may only be distributed to users located in specific areas.

  • Patent number: 12169971
Abstract: A system detects a transaction outcome by obtaining video data associated with a transaction area and analyzing the video data to obtain at least one video transaction parameter concerning transactions associated with the transaction area. The transaction area can be a video count of items indicated in the video data as detected by an automated item detection algorithm applied to the video data. The system obtains at least one expected transaction parameter concerning an expected transaction that occurs in the transaction area, such as a scan count of items scanned at a point of sale terminal. The system automatically compares the video transaction parameter(s) to the expected transaction parameter(s) to identify a transaction outcome that may indicate fraudulent activity such as sweethearting in a retail environment.

  • Publication number: 20240398387
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to adaptively suppress reverberation clutter signals in ultrasound imaging. A robust principal component analysis (RPCA) may be used to separate a static or low dimension background signal from sparse, moving or high dimension objects in the presence of outliers. A tissue signal may be transformed to the wavelet domain to fulfill the sparsity conditions of RPCA. The use of the RPCA combined with wavelet kernels may be used to suppress reverberation clutter signals to achieve robust ultrasound attenuation coefficient estimation.

  • Patent number: 12135391
Abstract: The technology employs a contrasting color scheme on different surfaces for sensor housing assemblies mounted on exterior parts of a vehicle that is configured to operate in an autonomous driving mode. Lighter and darker colors may be chosen on different surfaces according to a thermal budget for a given sensor housing assembly, due to the different types of sensors arranged along particular surfaces, or to provide color contrast for different regions of the assembly. For instance, differing colors such as black/white or blue/white, and different finishes such as matte or glossy, may be selected to enhance certain attributes or to minimize issues associated with a sensor housing assembly.
