Abstract: A technique facilitates deployment of open hole gravel packing equipment and sand control equipment downhole in a single trip. According to an embodiment, the technique utilizes a pipe string, e.g. a workstring or a drill string, for use in an open hole gravel packing operation. The pipe string is equipped with a sand control system having at least one filtration medium, Additionally, the pipe string comprises a valve and a valve actuation device. The valve actuation device is capable of being remotely activated in a manner allowing setting of one or more packers downhole without blocking subsequent flow through the pipe string.

Abstract: Soft tissue supports, soft tissue implants, and methods of making and using soft tissue supports are disclosed. One soft tissue support includes a unitary piece of processed porous tissue material having an anterior portion and a posterior portion. The anterior and posterior portions define a cavity therebetween. The cavity is sized to receive a breast implant therein. The cavity has at least one opening sized to receive the breast implant therethrough. One soft tissue implant includes the soft tissue support and a breast implant positioned within the cavity of the soft tissue support. The implant may further include a soft tissue graft configured to support the processed porous tissue material and the breast implant. A method of using a soft tissue support includes inserting a breast implant into the soft tissue support, and implanting the soft tissue support containing the breast implant in the cavity.

  • Patent number: 12228683
Abstract: A method for operating a light detection and ranging (LIDAR) device is provided. The method includes driving, by an LLC resonant power converter, a wireless power signal at a primary winding of a transformer disposed on a first platform. The method includes transmitting the wireless power signal across a gap separating the first platform and a second platform. The second platform is configured to rotate relative to the first platform. The method includes receiving the wireless power signal at a secondary winding of the transformer. The secondary winding is disposed on the second platform. The method includes operating, by the LLC resonant power converter at a unity gain operating point and in an open loop mode without feedback control, a device mounted on the second platform based on the secondary winding receiving the wireless power signal.

  • Patent number: 12144715
Abstract: Soft tissue grafts, packaged soft tissue grafts, and methods of making and using soft tissue grafts are disclosed. One soft tissue graft includes processed tissue material having first and second opposed surfaces. The first and second opposed surfaces are bounded by first and second edges. The first edge has a concave shape that curves toward the second edge. The second edge has a convex shape that curves away from the first edge. The first surface comprises a plurality of apertures. At least one of the apertures is formed from a multi-directional separation in the first surface. One method of making a soft tissue graft includes positioning a cutting die on a surface of tissue material, pressing the cutting die into the tissue material to cut the tissue material, and processing the cut tissue material to create processed tissue material.

  • Publication number: 20240275129
Abstract: A method includes applying, by a switching circuit, pulses of an input voltage to an input of an inductor. The method includes charging, in accordance with an off state of a switch, a charge storage device through the inductor using the pulses of the input voltage such that the circuit node develops a charge voltage that is greater than the input voltage. The method includes discharging, in accordance with an on state of the switch, the charge storage device such that a first portion of the charge voltage is applied to a light emitter and a second portion of the charge voltage is applied to parasitic inductance. The method includes controlling, by a controller, a timing of the pulses of the input voltage applied by the switching circuit based on a parasitic inductance from a previous charging cycle of the charge storage device, so as to control the charge voltage.

  • Publication number: 20240042093
Abstract: Described herein are injectable compositions composed of one or more polycationic polyelectrolytes and anionic counterions, one or more one polyanionic polyelectrolytes and cationic counterions, and a transient contrast agent. The injectable compositions have an ion concentration that is sufficient to prevent association of the polycationic polyelectrolytes and the polyanionic poly-electrolytes in water. Upon introduction of the composition into a subject, a solid is produced in situ. The transient contrast agent diffuses out of the solid over hours or days providing temporary contrast and does not remain in the subject unlike permanent contrast agents. This feature provides sufficient time for the clinician to perform medical procedures prior to the diffusion of the contrast agent out of the solid. The viscosity of the injectable compositions can be varied depending upon the application of the injectable composition.

  • Patent number: 11783095
Abstract: A data access manager is provided on a computing device to manage access to secure files stored in memory. The data access manager intercepts function calls from applications to the memory management unit and determines whether an application is allowed to access secure data stored in the memory of the computing device. When an initial request to map the data is received, the data access manager maps both secure data and clear data, obtaining pointers to both secure and clear data. When an application has permission to access the requested data, the data access manager returns the pointer to the clear data. When an application does not have permission to access the requested data, the data access manager returns the pointer to the secure data.

  • Patent number: 11216524
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to systems and methods for merging versions and activities associated with a file into a history feed and displaying the history feed on a user interface of a client computing device. In one aspect, a file is identified and activities associated with the file are also identified. It may be determined whether the file has at least one activity. When it is determined that the file has at least one activity, at least one actionable history element for the at least one activity is generated. Additionally, the generated history elements are merged to generate a history feed. The history feed is displayed on a user interface. The history feed may be displayed with an application that has opened the file.
