  • Publication number: 20200142863
Abstract: Systems and methods for integrating cloud-based and cloud-backed content items with a content management system (CSM) are provided. In some examples, a method can include storing a content item in a shared folder on a CSM, the content item representing a cloud-backed or cloud-based content item associated with a cloud content provider; receiving a request to access the content item in the shared folder; in response to the request, determining, based on permissions configured at the CSM, whether a user account has permissions allowing the user account to access the shared folder or the content item; based on a determination that the user account has permissions, granting the user account access to the content item and providing to the user account a content and features of the content item, the features being supported by the cloud content provider and provisioned at least partly through the cloud content provider.

  • Publication number: 20190364107
Abstract: A content management system can maintain the entirety of a user account's content library. As a default behavior, updates made to the content library when accessed from any client device authorized by the user account, including adding, modifying, and/or deleting content items, can be synchronized across all other authorized client devices. A user can opt out of the default behavior and specify, for each authorized client device, certain portions of the content library that the content management system should or should not synchronize.

  • Publication number: 20190219506
Abstract: Inspection units and methods of inspecting objects for the presence of particle contamination. An object inside an inspection unit is exposed to ultraviolet radiation at a first wavelength and to ultraviolet radiation at a second wavelength that is less than the first wavelength. Fluorescence is emitted from particles on a surface of the object in response to the ultraviolet radiation at the first wavelength and in response to the ultraviolet radiation at the second wavelength, and is visible external of the inspection unit.

  • Publication number: 20190188210
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for managing content across discrete systems. A content management system can be implemented to manage content items and synchronize content items across devices. A content collaboration system can be implemented to generate documents and facilitate collaboration on documents. To take advantage of the content management system's functionality to manage and synchronize content items while also providing the collaboration functionality of the content collaboration system, the content management system can store and manage references to documents created in the content collaboration system. The document references can be managed by the content management system such that the document references appear to users as if the document references were the referenced document in the collaboration system.

  • Patent number: 10288103
Abstract: A furniture connector connects two or more pieces of furniture together or may connect furniture to a wall, embodied, for example, as an adjustable room partition or modular storage unit. The furniture connector has a first spoke and a second spoke, which may be connected to a furniture piece or wall via respective locking mechanisms. The first and second spokes are joined by a pin, along a longitudinal axis of the pin. The connector allows the positions of two attached furniture pieces (or a furniture piece and a wall) to be adjusted about the longitudinal axis at a variety of discrete angles; once set to a desired angle, the connector limits the relative rotational movement of the first spoke and second spoke (about the longitudinal axis.) Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

  • Patent number: 10282522
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for cross-application authentication on a content management system. A client application running at a client device that is not authenticated with a content management system can receive, from a website associated with the content management system, a request to authenticate with the content management system under a user account used to authenticate a current session between a browser application at the client device and the website with the content management system. The client application can then obtain a uniform resource locator (URL) with a nonce associated with the client application, and send a command to the browser application including the URL and nonce. The command can trigger the browser application to use the URL and nonce to authenticate the client application with the content management system under the user account with which the current session between the browser application and the website is currently authenticated.
