Abstract: Systems and methods to reduce false positives in spam filtering. In one aspect, a method includes automatically generating profiles for persons identified in messages, such as incoming and outgoing emails. Messages flagged as spam can be checked against the profile to identify false positives.

Abstract: A communication is received over a network from a sender. A method includes identifying, by a computing device, one or more candidates for a phone number in the communication, the one or more candidates including a first candidate; determining, by the computing device, whether the first candidate is an IP address; and in response to determining that the first candidate is not an IP address, storing, in a data repository, the first candidate as a first phone number in a profile of the sender.

Abstract: A method of conducting an engine power assurance check includes performing a first engine power assurance check wherein the first engine power assurance check is judged as passing or failing based on power performance values calculated assuming the presence of a substantially clogged or blocked inlet barrier filter and in response to a fail result of the first engine power assurance check, performing a second engine power assurance check wherein the second power assurance check is judged as passing or failing based on power performance values calculated assuming at least one of no inlet barrier filter being installed and an open bypass of an installed inlet barrier filter.

Abstract: A strapping tensioning and sealing tool is disclosed herein. In one or more embodiments, the strapping tensioning and sealing tool includes a tensioning assembly, the tensioning assembly configured to apply tension to a piece of strapping; and a sealing assembly, the sealing assembly comprising at least one cam member, at least one crimping jaw member, and a motive power source, the at least one cam member operatively coupling the at least one crimping jaw member to the motive power source, and the at least one crimping jaw member of the sealing assembly configured to crimp a strapping sealing member so as to secure the piece of strapping around a package or bundle of items.

Abstract: A brake pad having a backing plate and a friction pad, with the friction pad including a particular slot configuration in the friction surface. The friction pad includes a slot with a main body portion and an angled cutout portion. The angled cutout portion includes a radial arc extension that helps form a continuous cooling arc at a portion of a top radius of the peripheral edge of the friction pad. The slot features can help promote desirable airflow patterns while the brake pad is in use.

Abstract: A retail display table includes a table top with openings, and a modular display mat disposed over each opening. Each of the modular display mats is movable between a closed position in which it covers its respective table-top opening, and an open position in which it is lifted above the table top so that a cavity underneath the modular display mat is accessible. Also, each modular display mat has holes to accommodate a configuration of displayed items, and is removable and replaceable with another modular display mat having a different configuration of holes to accommodate a different configuration of displayed items. A retail display system may include such a retail display table, along with other modular retail fixtures such as display walls with modular display wall inserts and retail counter units with modular display mats interchangeable with those of the retail display table.

Abstract: A handgun sear has a sear body extending between a proximal end portion to a distal end portion. The sear defines a first engagement surface adjacent the proximal end portion and a second engagement surface positioned distally of the first engagement surface. The sear can pivot about the distal end portion between a cocked position and a displaced position. The second engagement surface can be used to arrest forward movement of the striker in the event of an impulse that causes the striker to disengage from the first engagement surface. The sear may be incorporated into a fire control assembly of a semiautomatic handgun or other firearm.

Abstract: A disclosed tailgate accessory assembly includes an accessory body portion and a mount portion. The accessory body portion can include features that provide additional storage space, work surfaces or cargo securement features. The mount portion includes a first post spaced a distance from a second post, wherein each of the first post and the second post are configured for insertion into corresponding openings in a tailgate. A clip is provided for engaging a portion of the tailgate in a locked position for holding the accessory body portion to the tailgate.
