  • Publication number: 20140157547
Abstract: A gravity-balancing device mounted to a head roller of an electric roller shade includes a mounting bracket, a spiral elastic element mounted to the mounting bracket, and a winding element rotatably mounted to the mounting bracket to locate adjacent to the spiral elastic element and connect to the head roller. The spiral elastic element has a fixing end connected to the mounting bracket and a connecting end connected to the winding element. When the head roller is driven by a motor of the electric roller shade to rotate and lower a shade fabric of the roller shade, the gravity-balancing device synchronously generates an upward winding force to the head roller to offset a gravitational force lowering the shade fabric, so that the motor can drive the head roller to rotate reversely and lift the shade fabric with reduced motor torque output to save power and extend the motor life.

  • Publication number: 20140069595
Abstract: An automatic roller shade includes a shade body rotatably mounted to between a first and a second mounting bracket; a stop mechanism mounted in an end of a roller of the shade body; and a driving mechanism mounted in another opposite end of the roller. The stop mechanism includes a winding element connected to the roller and a spiral spring element having an end connected to the winding element. The spiral spring element enables a balance between a force for lifting or winding a shade fabric of the shade and the gravitational force lowering or unwinding the shade fabric. The driving mechanism at the other end of the roller can adopt a micro motor as a power source and the micro motor can be invisibly located inside the roller, enabling the automatic roller shade to have reduced power consumption and manufacturing cost while having a compact and esthetic appearance.

  • Publication number: 20130186722
Abstract: A deceleration device for window shade includes a casing, and a deceleration mechanism movably fitted in the casing with a front end protruded from the casing. The casing can be mounted in a shade roller tube of any window shade that has already been provided with an automatic winding mechanism, and the deceleration mechanism can work with the automatic winding mechanism by gradually increasing the resistance to the winding of a shade fabric around the shade roller tube by the automatic winding mechanism, so as to prevent the shade fabric from being instantaneously lifted to adversely damage the window shade. And, since the deceleration device can be separately mounted to a window shade having an automatic winding mechanism for use, it provides good applicability.

  • Publication number: 20120234502
Abstract: A magnetically operated curtain includes a curtain fabric, at least a magnetic unit, and at least a metallic unit. The magnetic unit is coupled to a first selected point of the curtain fabric. The metallic unit is coupled to a second selected point of the curtain fabric in a manner that the second selected point is of a specific distance from the magnetic unit. The curtain fabric folds or unfolds as needed under mutual attraction between or separation of the metallic unit and the magnetic unit. The magnetically operated curtain can be used as a window blind, a door curtain, or a sunshade curtain, and can dispense with tractional cords which are indispensable to a conventional window blind (such as a Roman blind). Hence, the magnetically operated curtain not only incurs relatively less costs in a manufacturing process thereof but is easy, quick and safe to use.

  • Publication number: 20120152470
Abstract: A decelerating device integrated with a blind structure includes a blind structure comprising a batten and a blind fabric disposed at the batten; a first decelerating unit disposed at an end of the batten; a winding unit coupled to an end of the first decelerating unit and disposed in the batten; and a second decelerating unit disposed at another end of the batten. The decelerating device prevents window blind damage and promotes user safety by precluding instantaneous upward winding of a blind fabric, as precluding instantaneous upward winding of the blind fabric follows increasing winding-induced resistance by first and second decelerating units while a batten is winding in the blind fabric by means of a winding mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20120145336
Abstract: A blind structure characterized by enhanced user safety includes a blind holder, an elevating unit coupled to the blind holder, and a second shade. The blind holder includes an upper beam and a first shade coupled thereto. The elevating unit includes a batten, a transmitting member disposed at one end of the batten, and a tractional member for driving the transmitting member. The batten is movably coupled to the upper beam. The second shade has one end connected to the first shade and the other end connected to the batten. The blind structure advantageously works on the principles of: moving a second shape vertically with an elevating unit, moving a first shade vertically with the second shade, thereby dispensing with tractional cords and lifting cords and precluding the human body from being entangled with the tractional cords and lifting cords otherwise required, so as to enhance user safety.
