  • Patent number: 12317937
Abstract: An aerosol-generating device including a wick configured to absorb an aerosol-generating substance, a heater configured to heat the wick, a sensor configured to sense a puff, and a controller. The controller performs control to heat the heater while puffs are sensed, and detects the temperature of the heater. Based on the temperature of the heater being equal to or higher than a predetermined threshold temperature, the controller interrupts the supply of power to the heater. Based on the temperature of the heater being lower than the threshold temperature, the controller determines whether it is necessary to change the threshold temperature. Based on a need to change the threshold temperature, the controller changes the threshold temperature based on the detected temperature of the heater.
