Abstract: A discharge head for the nasal application of pharmaceutical liquid from a pressure reservoir which has an outlet valve with a valve connector, to which force can be applied counter to a spring force in order to open the outlet valve. The discharge head has a nasal applicator which extends outward from an actuating surface and at the end of which a discharge opening is provided. The discharge opening is connected in a fluid-communicating manner to a hollow tube through an applicator channel of the nasal applicator, for connection to the pressure reservoir. The nasal applicator has an inner component connected integrally to the actuating surface and an outer component separate from the inner component and attached to the inner component in a surrounding manner. The discharge opening is provided in the outer component, and the outer component and the inner component together bound the applicator channel.

Measures for securing the dispenser include a rotatable sleeve over the push button, a secured cap, a securing arrangement on the push button, an interaction of the push button with an opposite side of the dispenser, and a receiving sleeve for the dispenser.

Abstract: An inhalation device having a liquid reservoir for storing liquid before being discharged, and a discharge head for dispensing the liquid in droplet mist. The discharge head has a nozzle arrangement for generating the droplet mist and housing on which a discharge channel is provided for use as a respiration piece or for attachment of a separate respiration piece. A main axis of extent of the discharge channel encloses an angle of >0° with a central dispensing direction. In alignment with the central dispensing direction of the nozzle arrangement, either an aperture is provided in the outer housing through which aperture the droplet mist emerges from the discharge head if it is not sucked into the discharge channel by respiration of the user, or a liquid buffer is provided for receiving the droplet mist if it is not sucked into the discharge channel by respiration of the user.

The inner and outer components are locked in the first position by a child-resistant mechanism, and displacement of the outer component from the first position into the second position is prevented in a locking position of the mechanism.

The dispenser includes an injection-moulded pull-off portion which, in the delivery state, covers the ventilation opening and is connected to the cap body by a substance-to-substance bond. The pull-off portion, together with a tamper-evident portion, which, with the dispenser in the delivery state, prevents removal of the cap body, is part of a common segment which is detachable from the cap body of the cap. Alternatively, the ventilation opening is provided with a filter membrane for filtering the air which flows through it, and the cap body includes two part-bodies which together form a receiving space for the filter membrane.

The metering body is designed as a float and is adapted to the metering channel such that, during the movement in the direction of the closed position, liquid flowing to the discharge opening flows around it at least in phases. The metering body is adapted to the discharge opening such that, in its closed position, it closes the discharge opening off from the metering channel. The metering head also includes a ventilation channel separate from the discharge opening and having an inlet valve that opens when there is an underpressure in the metering channel in relation to the environment.

In order to reduce the internal volume of the dispenser and therefore to effect a discharge of liquid, a slide is pushed manually in an actuating direction from a stroke starting position into a stroke end position.
