Publication number: 20160243319Abstract: A discharging device for a pharmaceutical liquid dispenser including a housing, an applicator tip with a discharge opening and a protective cap. A locking tooth is provided on the protective cap and a counter tooth is provided on the applicator tip. The locking tooth passes over the counter tooth when the protective cap is rotated relative to the applicator tip in a first direction, and the locking tooth and the counter tooth prevent rotation in a direction opposite the first direction. The protective cap and the applicator tip are adapted to each other such that the discharge opening contacts a lid region of the protective cap after the locking tooth has passed over the counter tooth, and the discharge opening can be closed in a sealed manner by the protective cap. The protective cap is deformable to disengage the locking tooth and the counter tooth.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 11, 2014Publication date: August 25, 2016Inventors: Christoph SZYMICZEK, Gerald KRAMPEN, Juergen GREINER-PERTH

Publication number: 20160138953Abstract: A metering head for a liquid dispenser with a discharge opening for dispensing liquid from an interior of the metering head into an environment, a metering body and a metering channel within which the metering body is arranged movably between a closed position and an open position. The metering body is designed as a float and is adapted to the metering channel such that, during the movement in the direction of the closed position, liquid flowing to the discharge opening flows around it at least in phases. The metering body is adapted to the discharge opening such that, in its closed position, it closes the discharge opening off from the metering channel. The metering head also includes a ventilation channel separate from the discharge opening and having an inlet valve that opens when there is an underpressure in the metering channel in relation to the environment.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 19, 2015Publication date: May 19, 2016Inventors: Juergen GREINER-PERTH, Pia REY

Patent number: 9233384Abstract: A dispenser for discharging liquids with a liquid reservoir for accommodating the liquid prior to being discharged, and a liquid outlet passage which leads to a liquid outlet opening through which the liquid reservoir communicates with a surrounding atmosphere. In a use position, the liquid outlet opening is arranged below the liquid reservoir such that the liquid flows on account of the weight thereof in the direction of the liquid outlet opening, and the liquid outlet passage in the use position does not simultaneously permit air to enter the liquid reservoir and liquid to exit into the surrounding atmosphere. In order to reduce the internal volume of the dispenser and therefore to effect a discharge of liquid, a slide is pushed manually in an actuating direction from a stroke starting position into a stroke end position.Type: GrantFiled: February 22, 2012Date of Patent: January 12, 2016Assignee: APTAR RADOLFZELL GMBHInventors: Juergen Greiner-Perth, Matthias Wochele, Judith Auerbach
