  • Patent number: 9842413
Abstract: In a method and apparatus for providing a visualization image and a reference image for a patient, with only one reconstruction being implemented, raw scan data from the patient are reconstructed into a visualization image, and the reference image is generated, without another reconstruction, by applying a filter to the visualization image to obtain a simulated reference image, using a value of a filter parameter that is specific for the patient. The patient-specific filter parameter is determined by comparing image-derived properties of an accessed, previously-reconstructed reference image and the reference image, and the filter parameter is adapted to reduce differences in the image-derived properties of the respective images.

  • Publication number: 20160221398
Abstract: A pneumatic motorcycle tire 1 is provided with a tread pattern having an intended tire rotational direction N. The tread portion 2 is provided on each side of the tire equator C with a unit pattern 9 repeatedly arranged in the tire circumferential direction to form the tread pattern. The unit pattern 9 comprises: a first oblique groove 11 extending axially outwardly from a vicinity of the tire equator C and obliquely, while inclining to the rotational direction N; a second oblique groove 12 disposed on the toe-side in the rotational direction N of the first oblique groove 11 and extending therealong; and a narrow oblique groove 15 extending axially outwardly from the axially inner end of the first oblique groove 11 to the axially inner end of the second oblique groove 12, while inclining to the opposite direction to the rotational direction N.

  • Publication number: 20150356754
Abstract: A method of calibrating image data from a given medical imaging protocol, comprising: obtaining a visualization image by reconstruction of raw scan data 22 using a reconstruction 24 and applying a filter 30 to the visualization image, to generate a simulated reference image 32. The parameters of the filter 30 are determined from earlier comparisons of simulated reference image 32 with reference images 28 reconstructed from the corresponding raw scan data set by a standard reference standard reference reconstruction 24?.

  • Publication number: 20140356322
Abstract: The present invention relates to bifunctional compounds, which find utility as modulators of targeted ubiquitination, especially inhibitors of a variety of polypeptides and other proteins that are degraded and/or otherwise inhibited by bifunctional compounds of the present invention. In particular, the present invention is directed to compounds, which contain on one end a VHL ligand that binds to the ubiquitin ligase and on the other end a moiety that binds a target protein, such that the target protein is placed in proximity to the ubiquitin ligase to effect degradation (and inhibition) of that protein. The present invention exhibits a broad range of pharmacological activities associated with compounds of the present invention, consistent with the degradation/inhibition of targeted polypeptides.
