  • Publication number: 20170061578
Abstract: A display device includes a low-definition display section and a high-definition display section. An area of pixels of the high-definition display section is smaller than an area of pixels of the low-definition display section. The position of the center of the high-definition display section is shifted from the position of the center of the display region. Consequently, when the display device is worn on the head of a user and disposed in front of the eyes, it is possible to provide a high-definition image. • Patent number: 9001075
Abstract: A display device having a touch panel function includes a plurality of pixel circuits arranged in a matrix shape and sensing circuits arranged in a region between the adjacent pixel circuits for reading out a magnitude of coupling capacitance. A display driver writes a display signal in the pixel circuit every row line by driving the scanning lines and signal lines in a display operation period. A sensing driver senses a signal showing magnitude of the coupling capacitance from the sensing circuit every row line by driving the plurality of scanning lines and signal lines in a sensing operation period. The display operation period and the sensing operation period are repeated in turns. A voltage in a range used for the displaying operation is written into the signal line in a preliminary writing operation period between after the sensing operation period and before the display operation period.

  • Publication number: 20070195217
Abstract: An intermediate portion of a low voltage power supply wire is extinguished by irradiation of a laser beam to form a wire cut portion. A different potential portion serves as the wire cut portion of the low voltage power supply wire. The distance between the end portions of a high voltage power supply wire and the low voltage power supply wire between which the potential is different is increased. An electrical short-circuit between the high voltage power supply wire and the low voltage power supply wire hardly occurs. Even when impurities invade into the gap between an insulating layer on the high voltage power supply wire and the low voltage power supply wire and a glass substrate, electrode corrosion of the high voltage power supply wire and the low voltage power supply wire can be prevented. A display failure can be prevented.
