  • Publication number: 20170201412
Abstract: A radio communication anomaly detecting method includes: gathering and storing different kinds of parameters indicating a radio quality with a sensor node in a storage unit; classifying parameter sets, each containing specific kinds of parameters gathered during a prescribed time period among the stored parameters, into clusters; estimating that a rapid radio quality degradation has occurred during the prescribed time period when there is a cluster of which all average values of specified kinds of parameters among the different kinds of parameters degrade more than those of another cluster; and performing a trend analysis for a time period during which it is not estimated that the rapid radio quality degradation has occurred to determine whether each of the different kinds of parameters gathered during the time period exhibits a trend of degradation, and estimating that a slow radio quality degradation has occurred based on a result of the trend analysis.

  • Patent number: 9137277
Abstract: A communication apparatus going to acquire transmission right accepts input of specifying a communication apparatus as a main target of output among other communication apparatuses, and then performs multi-address calling of output data to the other communication apparatuses. At executing output processing on the basis of the output data, the specified communication apparatus executes output processing such as image output and voice output for notifying the fact of being specified. In a system of PoC service or the like where one communication apparatus among a plurality of communication apparatuses acquires transmission right of transmitting voice data, and then performs multi-address calling of voice data to a plurality of the other communication apparatuses, it is avoided that a target person of speech who is a main target of transmission of voice data among all users operating the other communication apparatuses fails to listen to a speech.

  • Publication number: 20140343698
Abstract: A device control apparatus controls devices. The device control apparatus includes a storage unit, a specification unit, and a control unit. The storage unit stores operational sensor change information in which a controlled device, operation status of the controlled device, and change attribute of the controlled device set based on sensor information obtained by collecting a change in sensor measured value at regular time intervals, are associated with one another. The specification unit specifies a conflicting device that conflicts with the controlled device in the change attribute related to the operation status, based on the operational sensor change information. The control unit controls the specified conflicting device to interpolate the contents of the request so as to eliminate the competition in the operation status between the conflicting device and the controlled device, and then executes the interpolated request.

  • Patent number: 8538470
Abstract: A reception-process manager of a call server writes, in a transfer-voice-data storage, voice data contained in a voice packet received from the transmitter terminal which has acquired the talk right. A transmission-process manager of the call server determines the next transmission interval of a voice packet for each receiver terminal on the basis of determination information received from the each receiver terminal. The transmission-process manager reads out the voice data in a size dependent on the determined transmission interval from the transfer-voice-data storage, generates voice packet containing the voice data for the each receiver terminal, and transmits the voice packet to the each receiver terminal. Thus, the voice-packet transmission interval can be changed for each receiver terminal without stopping voice-packet transmission.

  • Patent number: 8527600
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to relieve the burden on a watcher that uses a presence system to subscribe to the presence information of people and objects. For example, an attribute is a product name, and products A, B, C have the identical attribute value “DVDRecorder.” The server generates aggregate presence information, which includes the presence information of the products A, B, C (corresponds to the providers), and sends a notification of such to a watcher W (corresponds to the notification recipient) of the presence information of the products A, B, C. The watcher W collectively receives the presence information for every product name, and the watcher W is therefore relieved of the burden of classifying the presence information for every product name.

  • Patent number: 8380782
Abstract: An information communication method includes: accepting first presence information transmitted from a first terminal device which is connected so as to be communicable through a network; specifying a second terminal device as a notification destination to which the first presence information is destined; mapping the notification destination to a transmission source of the first presence information; deciding whether or not an alteration of the notification destination is required according to a state of the notification destination as indicated by second presence information accepted from the second terminal device; selecting, if alteration is required, a third terminal device to succeed the second terminal device; and notifying the first presence information to the third terminal device corresponding to the altered notification destination.

  • Patent number: 8200755
Abstract: In a presence system in which one user users a plurality of terminals, dynamically changing buddy lists are synchronized between the terminals. A presence notification message is sent to all the terminals of the user. The timing of sending includes, for example, when the presence information of a buddy is updated, when a new buddy is set, when display attribute information is updated, when a buddy is cancelled, and when a presence notification of unknown presentity is made. Thus, when one user uses a plurality of terminals in the presence system, dynamically changing buddy lists can be synchronized between the terminals. In addition, the display formats of the buddy lists do not differ from one terminal to another, and the same display format is attained.

  • Patent number: 8103757
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to manage presence update by publishers that a presentity does not recognize. When the presence server 100 receives status information that indicates a status of presentity A from publisher B (#1), the presence server 100 stores it in the history table 9 and transmits a change notification to a watcher C (#3). Subsequently, the presence server 100 makes an inquiry to presentity A as to whether or not to allow an update by publisher B (#4). When it is allowed (#5, #6), publisher B is added in the allow list 8a of the allow list DB 8 (#7). Also, presence information is generated based on status information retrieved from the history table 9 (#8), is notified to the watcher C and is stored in the presence management DB 2b (#9, #10). When it is denied (#11), publisher B is added in the deny list 8b of the allow list DB 8 (#12). Also, status information received from publisher B is deleted from the history table 9.

  • Patent number: 7980459
Abstract: A presence server stores a presence that is identified by presence IDs “a1” and “a2”, as the presence of a user “A”. User “A” can pass a card that they hold through a card reader at a timing of their choosing. The card reader reads in data from the card and transmits a renewal request to the presence server. The renewal request includes a renewer ID, an object ID, category information and the presence. When the presence server receives the renewal request, it specifies the presence ID “a1” of user “A” to be the presence that is to be renewed, based on the category information, and moreover, rewrites the presence of the presence ID “a1” to a presence “meeting room A” that is included in the renewal request. Thus, the card reader can renew the presence designated by the “category information”. As for the presence that is renewed, it is notified to a watcher of the presence “a1” from the presence server.
