    Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a communication method, comprising: receiving, by a first access network device from a core network device, signaling destined for a terminal, wherein the terminal is in a radio resource control (RRC) inactive mode; sending a first paging message to a second access network device for paging the terminal, wherein the first access network device and the second access network device are in same paging area; and receiving, from the second access network device, first indication information indicating that the terminal has connected to the second access network device. In the embodiments of the present application, after receiving the signaling destined for the terminal from the core network device, the first access network device can learn the terminal has connected to the second access network device, and therefore performs proper subsequent processing.

    Abstract: A remanufactured toner cartridge and related method includes a modified driven gear that is associated with an internal seal removal mechanism. The driven gear is modified so that driving rotational force from a printer is not transmitted to the seal removal mechanism during a post test of the remanufactured cartridge. When the post test is complete a fixing member, which may include a pin, is used to return the modified driven gear to an operational configuration so that when the cartridge is subsequently installed in a printer, driving rotational force from the printer is transmitted to the removal mechanism to remove the internal toner seal, thereby permitting cartridge operation.

The client includes processing circuitry that is configured to send a message including a digital signature of the client. The distributed system is in a first consensus mode for reaching a consensus on the message. The processing circuitry obtains results from a subset of the nodes that receive the message. The results have respective digital signatures of the subset of the nodes. After verifying the digital signatures of the subset of the nodes, the processing circuitry of the client determines, based on the results, whether one or more of the nodes in the distributed system is malfunctioned.

    Abstract: An optical coupler that provides evanescent optical coupling includes an optical fiber and a waveguide. The optical fiber has a glass core, a glass inner cladding surrounding the glass core, and a polymeric outer cladding surrounding the glass inner cladding. The glass core and glass inner cladding define for the fiber a glass portion, which can be exposed at one end of the fiber by removing a portion of the polymeric outer cladding. The glass portion has a glass-portion surface. The waveguide has a waveguide core and a surface, and can be part of a photonic device. The glass portion of the fiber is interfaced with the waveguide to establish evanescent coupling between the fiber and the waveguide. Alignment features are used to facilitate aligning the fiber core to the waveguide core during the interfacing process to ensure suitable efficiency of the evanescent coupling.

Finally, the method may include sending recommendations for one or more concepts based on the recommended user-concept scores for the second set of users.

The shield includes a gap in its perimeter that aligns with clips in the corresponding connector.
