    Abstract: A magnetic core for an electric motor has a ring-shaped yoke, teeth extending outwardly from the yoke, and a tooth tip extending from a distal end of each tooth. The core is formed from curved or coils strip laminations having teeth arranged in tooth groups. Each group has four tooth types arranged sequentially. Each tooth has left and right half tooth tips. The length of the half tooth tips vary according to tooth type. When assembled, first type tooth overlap with third type teeth and second type teeth overlap with fourth type teeth, whereby the opening of the winding slot is narrowed compared to laminations having all identical teeth.

The patterned memory material layer includes a first memory material pattern disposed on the connection structure and a second memory material pattern disposed in the alignment mark trench. Manufacturing yield and alignment condition of forming the memory device may be improved by disposing a part of the first patterned conductive layer in the alignment mark trench.

Host-donor substrate assemblies may be built-up to support and protect front-side structures during back-side processing. Front-side devices, such as FETs, may be modified and/or interconnected during back-side processing. Back-side devices, such as FETs, may be integrated with front-side devices to expand device functionality, improve performance, or increase device density.

    Abstract: Techniques and mechanisms for mitigating signal deterioration in communications between two circuit boards. In an embodiment, a packaged device accommodates coupling to a first circuit board which, in turn, accommodates connection to a second circuit board. In one such embodiment, an amplifier circuit of the packaged device includes an amplifier circuit which comprises a variable resistor and an active circuit element coupled thereto. The device receives via one of the circuit boards a control signal and a voltage which configure the amplifier circuit to provide an impedance matching for communication between the circuit boards.
