Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a sewing thread treatment agent, and a sewing thread, each achieving low friction properties across a wide range of sewing speeds. As a solution, a sewing thread treatment agent is provided, which is characterized in that it contains a hydroxy-terminated polydimethylsiloxane (A), a nonionic surfactant (B), and at least one type of wax (C) selected from paraffin wax, oxidized paraffin wax, polyethylene wax, oxidized polyethylene wax, and carnauba wax.

Abstract: In an injection process, molten resin is successively injected from a first flow channel and a second flow channel connected with each other in order into a cavity of a metal mold. High-temperature resin existing in the first flow channel is injected in advance into the cavity as a part of a single shot of molten resin to later form a skin layer of a molded article. Other low temperature resin near a flowable limit existing in the second flow channel is subsequently injected into the cavity as another part of the single shot of molten resin to later form a core layer of the molded article. A low temperature resin remaining in the first flow channel when injection is completed is warmed to be a high-temperature resin before the next cycle, thereby allowing successive molding of molded articles.

Abstract: An infrared lens unit includes a lens barrel and an infrared lens supported on the lens barrel. The lens barrel includes a tubular part extending along a central axis extending in upward and downward directions and having an inner circumferential surface surrounding the central axis and a through-hole therein demarcated by the inner circumferential surface, and a protruding part disposed on the inner circumferential surface of the tubular part. The infrared lens is supported by the tubular part via the protruding part. The infrared lens is made of chalcogenide glass. The protruding part includes, in a cross section of the protruding part on a plane on which the central axis extends a linear portion extending in an upward direction from its lower end to its upper end and a sloping portion including an upper end and a lower end located at the upper end of the linear portion.

Abstract: An optical system includes: a lens group having an optical axis, a focal length of a first light, and a focal length of a second light; and a light splitter disposed at rear side of the lens group and splitting the first light and the second light incident from the lens group respectively, to guide the first light onto first imaging position and guide the second light onto second imaging position. The lens group includes lens elements transmitting the first light and the second light to match the first imaging position with the focal length of the first light and match the second imaging position with the focal length of the second light separately from the first imaging position. The lens element of the lens group is provided in front side of the light splitter with no lens element being provided in the rear side of the light splitter.
