    Abstract: A carbonyl reductase mutant and application thereof are provided. Mutation sites of the carbonyl reductase mutant include the 88th, 142nd, 190th, and 193rd positions of the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID NO:1. The carbonyl reductase mutant has higher enzymatic activity than wild-type carbonyl reductases. The enzymatic activity of some carbonyl reductase mutants is 50 times that of the wild-type carbonyl reductases. The carbonyl reductase mutant can cause a compound shown in formula I to carry out a reduction reaction shown in the following formula in a liquid reaction system in the presence of coenzymes, can prepare a compound represented by formula II with a conversion rate greater than 99%, a chiral ee value greater than 99%, and a chiral de value greater than 99%.
