One or more openings may be provided in the lower portion of the sleeve to facilitate removal of the bottle by tilting it away from the shoulder.

In one version, a back panel is joined to a finger panel, a palm panel, and a palm heel panel along side edges to form a glove, while creating openings allowing fingers to be extended outside the glove as desired. The finger panel combines with the distal end of the back panel to form a finger pocket which can be inverted to allow the fingers to emerge from the glove.
