    Abstract: A hinge is disclosed. The hinge includes a bracket defining a slot, a rack rotatable relative to the bracket, a stopping member foxed to the rack, and a limiting member rotatably mounted to the rack. The stopping member includes a stopping portion. The limiting member includes a limiting portion. When the rack rotates with respect to the bracket, the stopping portion of the stopping member engages with the limiting portion of the limiting member to slide in the slot of the bracket, until the limiting portion of the limiting member engages with one of the engaging walls of the slot to limit rotation of the rack. A length of the slot of the bracket is adjustable to control a rotating angle of the rack to be 360 or more degrees.

    Abstract: A hinge includes a rack, a bracket rotatably surrounding the rack, and a mounting member in tight contact with a side opposite to the rack of the bracket. The mounting member defines two opposite curved through slots. A resilient portion is formed between each through slot and an edge of the mounting member. A locating block extends from the resilient portion to engage the bracket, to deform the resilient portions of the mounting member generating elastic force to bias the mounting member onto the bracket, which stabilizes the hinge.

    Abstract: A hinge assembly is used in a notebook computer and has a combination bracket, a keyed shaft, a stationary bracket, a limiting assembly and a pressing assembly. The notebook computer has a monitor panel and a base. The monitor panel is mounted horizontally pivotally upon the base. The combination bracket is attached to the monitor panel. The keyed shaft is attached securely to the combination bracket. The stationary bracket is mounted rotatably around the keyed shaft and is mounted securely on the base. The limiting assembly is mounted rotatably on the stationary bracket, is connected to the keyed shaft and allows the keyed shaft to rotate 360°. The pressing assembly is mounted around the keyed shaft below the stationary bracket to provide friction. Consequently, the hinge assembly allows the monitor to rotate 360° relative the base.

    Abstract: A hinge assembly is mounted between a cover and a main case of an electronic appliance and has a base, a rotating bracket, two sleeves, a positioning spacer and a positioning assembly. The base connects to the main case and has a receiving hole. The rotating bracket has a central shaft and two side shafts. The sleeves connect to the cover and are mounted around the side shaft. The positioning spacer is mounted securely on the central shaft and has a positioning detent selectively aligning with the receiving hole. The positioning assembly is mounted in the receiving hole of the base and selectively engages the positioning detent. When the cover is rotated relative to the main case along the longitudinal axis, the central shaft rotates the positioning spacer relative to the positioning assembly. When the positioning assembly engages the positioning detent, the cover is positioned relative to the main case.
