  • Publication number: 20050188675
Abstract: A rotary engine includes a round wheel, which has a shaft pivoted on a frame to provide kinetic force during rotating, wherein the round wheel is provided with a plurality of pockets. At least one block is located at a lateral side or round surface of the wheel, which keeps stable contact with the round surface of the wheel by use of elastic force provided by a spring mounted on a screw and provides a suitable oblique angle between the block and the wheel. The block has an aperture, a combustion chamber, and a power room, which are opposite to pockets of the wheel to form quasi cylinders. A roller is fixed on the frame to support and maintain the block in stable. Acting force, which can be produced when mixture fuel is input into the pocket, when the fuel is ignited and exploded in the combustion chamber, and when expansion gas is exhausted into the power room, pushes the wheel to rotate continuously for outputting efficient kinetic force for utilization.

  • Patent number: 6922030
Abstract: An adjustable iri-diaphragm controller includes a brushless direct current (DC) motor, an iris defining an aperture that corresponds to an angular position of the DC motor, and a control module including a differential circuit, an integrator, and a current-limiting circuit. The differential circuit provides an output voltage corresponding to a difference between a first voltage corresponding to the angular position of the DC motor, and a second voltage corresponding to a reference aperture. The integrator provides an output signal corresponding to the output voltage. The current-limiting circuit limits supply of electric current to the DC motor in accordance with the control output signal, and inhibits the supply of the electric current to stop further rotation of the DC motor when the DC motor is rotated to an angular position corresponding to the reference aperture.

  • Publication number: 20050133367
Abstract: The present invention is to provide an electrical urea biosensor and its manufacturing method. In the present invention, a sensitive film is positioned on a surface of a substrate, wherein a conductive layer is formed on the surface of the substrate. The sensitive film is used as an ion-sensitive electrode. The sensitive film provides with a sensitive region and a non-sensitive region. A conductive line is extended from the conductive layer for using as an external electrical contact point. The present invention utilizes a package encapsulant covering the non-sensitive region of the sensitive film to define a sensitive window at the sensitive region and a urea enzyme is immobilized within the sensitive window of the sensitive film. Then, the present invention completes the formulation of a urea biosensor. The present invention is a disposable urea biosensor and provides with advantages of the mass production, low cost, and the easy package.

  • Publication number: 20040191588
Abstract: The present invention relates to a gas storage and dispensing system, which comprising a carrier material for a target gas and multiple microtubular elements in contact with such carrier material. Each microtubular element comprises a tubular wall that defines a bore side and a shell side that are sealed from each other, preferably by one or more potting members. The carrier material is either at the bore sides or at the shell sides of the microtubular elements, and it can be either a solid sorbent material for the target gas, or a liquid carrier therefor. Such gas storage and dispensing system is particular useful for hydrogen storage, when the carrier material can be a hydrogen-sorbent that contains hydrogen gas, or liquefied hydrogen, or an organic hydrogen solution, or a metal hydride solution capable of generating hydrogen gas. Such microtubular elements can further be designed as microfibrous fuel cells, while each microfibrous fuel cell comprises a carrier material at its bore side.

  • Publication number: 20040108211
Abstract: A surface treatment for a wrought copper foil relatives to a surface treatment procedure for a wrought cooper foil for use on a flexible PCB. The surface treatment comprises the steps of bi-polar electrochemical degreasing, acid etching and nodularization, electroplating a barrier layer and an anti-tarnish layer and coating a silane coupling agent layer to a copper foil. One side of the copper foil is nodularization, and a Zn—Ni barrier layer and a Cr—Zn anti-tarnish layer are electroplated on the copper foil. Finally, the organic silane coupling agent is coated to the roughened surface of the copper foil to modify the surface characters to impart the peel strength. Whereby, the cooper foil has very low profile, high peel strength, finer-pattern property, low HCl undercut and high thermal oxidation property.
