  • Patent number: 5558483
Abstract: An article transfer apparatus is described which is movable along a row of article storage racks and comprises an article carrier having a conveyor and an article holder disposed above the article carrier and containing a plurality of suction cups. The article holder includes mechanism which, after the suction cups have been pushed against an article to suck and attract the article, there is operable via a folding motion of first and second swing arms, or alternatively, in conjunction with a movement of a front-back moving member simultaneously with such folding motion of the swing arms, and an article carrying conveyor is synchronously driven in an article pulling-in direction, whereby the article can be put onto the article carrying conveyor.

  • Patent number: 4896116
Abstract: An object detection method and apparatus in which, in order to distinguish only an echo wave which is returned back from an object of interest, such as an underground buried object, from those echo waves returned back from another object of objects, the observation signal is divided (an electromagnetic wave as an echo wave) into portions, and the signal portion is converted into a corresponding frequency region to evaluate that spectral distribution and computes frequency parameter values from the spectrum distribution. The object of interest is detected by comparing the reference data of various fields with the parameters of the object of interest, extracting only an echo wave returned back from the object of interest and displaying a corresponding image.

  • Patent number: 4770946
Abstract: An oxidized film is formed on the surface of Mg or an Mg alloy, and a thermosetting resin film is formed on the oxidized film. A conductive film is further formed on the thermosetting film. The surface film of the Mg or Mg alloy thus surface-treated has a strong adhesion to the Mg or Mg alloy. The surface-treated Mg or Mg alloy has an excellent corrosion resistance, an excellent heat shock resistance, and a high surface conductivity.

  • Patent number: 3984751
Abstract: A high D.C. voltage generating apparatus for generating a high D.C. voltage across an inductive load, in which a circuitry serving to supply a D.C. current to the load and a circuitry serving to generate a high D.C. voltage across the load are separated from each other, so that the current and voltage capacity required for the respective circuitries is reduced and disturbance in the power supplying side is eliminated.
