    Abstract: An electronic information name of electronic information prepared by attaching a version number of the electronic information with a unique appellation of the electronic information is distributed to users of electronic information. Based on this electronic information name, accesses to the electronic information are conducted. There is further provided a table for holding the version number of the electronic information, and the version number held in the table is changed such as by a locking request, a locking release request for the electronic information. Upon an access request to the electronic information, the version number included in the electronic information name is compared with the version number held in the table, so as to judge whether or not the access to the electronic information is to be permitted, to thereby conduct an exclusive access control of the electronic information.

    Abstract: A liquid coating nozzle is provided with a first block which has an inner liquid reserving section that extends in the longitudinal direction and an inner discharge section which includes a plurality of small holes formed in the longitudinal direction at a bottom portion of the liquid reserving section. The nozzle is also provided with a second block which has an inner space defining a gas reserving section that extends in the longitudinal direction outside the first block and an outer discharge section formed in the longitudinal direction at a bottom portion of the inner space. The outer discharge section includes a plurality of small holes and produces a gas flow that externally surrounds a linear or curtain-shaped liquid flow that flows downward from the small holes. This results in the formation of a thin coating film in a short time and reduces the consumption of liquid and coating nonuniformities.

    Abstract: A liquid coating nozzle is provided with a first block which has an inner liquid reserving section that extends in the longitudinal direction and an inner discharge section which includes a plurality of small holes formed in the longitudinal direction at a bottom portion of the liquid reserving section. The nozzle is also provided with a second block which has an inner space defining a gas reserving section that extends in the longitudinal direction outside the first block and an outer discharge section formed in the longitudinal direction at a bottom portion of the inner space. The outer discharge section includes a plurality of small holes and produces a gas flow that externally surrounds a linear or curtain-shaped liquid flow that flows downward from the small holes. This results in the formation of a thin coating film in a short time and reduces the consumption of liquid and coating nonuniformities.

    Abstract: A method for molding an article integrated with a multi-layer flexible circuit by embedding the circuit in a molding material to be shaped into a certain configuration. A first flexible circuit layer is sandwiched between a fixed mold and a movable mold so as to perform an injection shaping of one side of the molding material. A plurality of flexible circuits from the second layer of flexible circuit and subsequent flexible circuits are sequentially sandwiched between the fixed mold and the movable mold and they are layered one on the other. The movable mold contains a heater. The pattern of each flexible circuit is traced with thermosetting conductive paste which is hardened by the heater of the movable mold when flexible circuits are laminated on each other. Each flexible circuit has a hot-melt type adhesive layer on the rear surface thereof.

    Abstract: An optical waveguide device includes a plurality of optical waveguides extending adjacent each other in a sheet-like form. Each of the waveguides includes core portion, an inner cladding layer formed on a periphery of the core portion, and an outer cladding layer formed on a periphery of the inner cladding layer. The inner cladding layer is devoid of light scatterers, whereas the outer cladding layer has light scatterers disposed therein. As light travels within the core portion, such light is efficiently reflected at the surface of the inner cladding layer. The outer cladding layer having the light scatterers disposed therein functions to inhibit crosstalk between adjacent waveguides.
