  • Patent number: 10211548
Abstract: A patchboard having a plurality of socket blocks (2), each of which has a box-like housing (3) with two end faces (4a, 4b) and four side faces (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) which extend between the end faces (4a, 4b), the two end faces (4a, 4b) of the socket blocks (2) having at least one connection region (6). An increased degree of flexibility and ability to adapt to individual user requests is achieved due to each of at least two side faces (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) of the socket blocks (2) having at least one latching element for connection to another socket block (2), and by at least one termination element (11) being arranged on at least one side of the patchboard (1), the termination element (11) having a mating latching element on at least one side face (12, 12b) for connecting the termination element to an adjacent socket block (2).

  • Patent number: 10199752
Abstract: A patchboard includes a plurality of honeycomb components which each have a box-shaped housing having two faces and four side surfaces. The two faces each have a connection region. At least two of the side surfaces have a latching element for connecting to another honeycomb component, and at least two of the honeycomb components have different cross-sections. The width and/or height of a honeycomb component having a larger cross-section is a multiple of the width and/or height of a honeycomb component having a smaller cross-section. The number of latching elements of a side surface having a greater width or greater height of a honeycomb component having a larger cross-section is a corresponding multiple of the number of latching elements of a side surface having a smaller width or smaller height of a honeycomb component having a smaller cross-section.

  • Publication number: 20180131107
Abstract: The invention illustrates and describes a patchboard comprising a plurality of socket blocks (2), wherein the individual socket blocks (2) each have a box-like housing (3) with two end faces (4a, 4b) and four side faces (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) which extend between the end faces (4a, 4b), and wherein the two end faces (4a, 4b) of the socket blocks (2) each have at least one connection region (6). The patchboard (1) according to the invention has an increased degree of flexibility and ability to adapt to individual requests of a user as a result of at least two side faces (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) of the socket blocks (2) each having at least one latching element for connection to another socket block (2), and by at least one termination element (11) being arranged on at least one side of the patchboard (1), wherein the termination element (11) has a mating latching element on at least one side face (12, 12b), the termination element (11) being connected to an adjacent socket block (2) by means of said mating latching element.

  • Patent number: 6736683
Abstract: An electrical terminal, for example a terminal block which includes a terminal housing having at least one terminal element located within, such as a tension spring terminal, and with at least one current bar. The terminal housing also includes at least one lead insertion opening for inserting an electrical lead to be connected, at least one actuating opening for inserting an actuating tool for opening the tension spring terminal and at least one test plug opening for inserting a test plug which is laterally offset from the plane of the actuating opening. This electrical terminal enables a test tap while also having smaller size than conventional electrical terminals.

  • Patent number: 6155723
Abstract: An input/output module (1) with a terminal unit (2) for connection of sensors or actuators with an electronic unit (3) and with a bus connection element (4). The terminal unit (2) has at least one input/output (5) located in a surface thereof and the terminal unit is connected by the electronic unit (3) to the bus connection element (4). To replace the electronic unit (3), the terminal unit (2) can be removed from the electronic unit (3) without the need to remove lines (6) connected to the inputs/outputs (5). The terminal unit (2) is able to be mounted to the electronic unit (3) in each of two positions, the input/output (5) in the two positions lying in planes that are offset relative to each other by 90.degree..
