  • Patent number: 8185857
Abstract: A signal converter device has a programmable logic circuit, wherein a number of binary input signals are being transmitted from the outside of the signal converter unit. The programmable logic circuit is programmed by a programming in such a way, as to detect binary output signals from a number of logic functions. The output signals are output by the signal converter device to the outside. The logic functions are designed in such a manner, that the output signals are determined exclusively by logic associations of the input signals. The output signals are at least partially transmitted to drives. Programming is in such a way, that for at least two drives, output signals to be emitted to the drives are determined uniformly.

  • Patent number: 7866214
Abstract: A pressure gauge, or transducer, for high-temperature applications, comprising a sensor module with a sensor body having a measuring cell chamber containing a pressure measuring cell. The pressure measuring cell can be subjected to the action of a pressure via a first hydraulic path filled with a transmission liquid. The pressure gauge also comprises a transmission module for transmitting a pressure to the first hydraulic path. The transmission module has a second hydraulic path, which is filled with a transmission liquid and extends from a process diaphragm, through a transmission body and to a transmission diaphragm. The transmission diaphragm is attached to the transmission body in a pressure-tight manner, and the sensor body is joined to the transmission body in a pressure-tight manner, whereby the transmission diaphragm communicates with the first hydraulic path so that the pressure of the second hydraulic path can be transmitted via the transmission diaphragm to the first hydraulic path.

  • Patent number: 7398691
Abstract: A pressure pickup includes a pressure measuring cell and a platform through which a pressure canal equipped with a flame penetration barrier extends. The pressure measuring cell is loadable with the process pressure through the pressure canal by means of a transmitting medium. The pressure canal includes a first section and a second section, with the flame penetration barrier being arranged in a first section, and a second section has a bore, in which a fill-body is arranged. The gap between the bore and the fill-body is manufactured with greater tolerances, so that it does not fulfill the requirements for a flame penetration barrier. The flame penetration barrier is realized in the first section, for example, by providing in the first section a bore, in which a fill-pin is arranged, with the remaining gap between the bore and the fill-pin satisfying the requirements for a flame penetration barrier.

  • Patent number: 6252759
Abstract: In order to avoid short-circuits between the electrodes, the pressure sensor comprises: a substrate (11) made of ceramic material, on one surface of which an electrode (13) and a glass layer (14) formed from an original glass frit are disposed; a diaphragm (12) made of ceramic material, which is permanently joined and pressure-sealed to the substrate by means of the original glass frit acting as a spacer (17) holding the diaphragm and the substrate from each other to form a cavity (16), and which on the cavity side is provided with an electrode (15); and leads (18, 19) which extend inwards and/or through the diaphragm (12) to the electrodes (13, 15) in the region of the spacer (17). The differential pressure sensor is formed in a mirror-inverted arrangement in relation to the centre plane of the substrate, so that it carries two pressure sensors. These are pressure-linked by a hole (41) filled with oil and connecting the two cavities and leading through the substrate and outwards.
