  • Publication number: 20170122252
Abstract: A module may include a receiving element in the form of a bearing frame or a covering hood for arrangement on a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine. The module may further include a camshaft that is rotatably mounted on the receiving element and projects from the receiving element to hold a camshaft wheel. The module can be prefabricated for direct mounting on the cylinder head. In the prefabrication process, the camshaft may be locked against rotation by an externally accessible securing part in an angular position for acting on valves. The securing part may extend through a first aperture in the camshaft wheel and through or into a receptacle of the receiving element. After mounting the module on the cylinder head, the securing part can be removed.

  • Patent number: 9271028
Abstract: A method for decoding a data stream containing audio/video substreams and control substreams comprises buffering nodes having the possibility to buffer multiple data packets in the same buffer. This may be achieved by having separate parameters for the allocated buffer size and any stored packet. Thus, not only multiple packets may be stored in the buffering node, but also such node may exist while its buffer is empty, so that the node may be reused later. This is particularly useful for buffering and selectively accessing multiple audio packets in MPEG-4 audio nodes or sound nodes.

  • Publication number: 20160018034
Abstract: A muffler, in particular a rear muffler, for an exhaust gas system of an internal combustion engine, in particular a motor vehicle engine, comprises a housing, in particular a housing having a jacket and two end walls, and comprises at least two pipes which are plugged into one another and which are at least partly received by the housing, in particular at least one inlet or outlet pipe which is in particular led through the jacket and which is connected to an inner pipe. The first pipe has a pipe piece into which a pipe piece, in particular an end section, of the second pipe is plugged. The pipe piece of the second pipe is provided with nubs at its outer boundary which engage into cut-outs provided in the pipe piece of the first pipe. In this respect, the cut-outs are dimensioned larger with respect to the nubs so that the end section is, on the one hand, fixed in the pipe piece but can be axially displaced to a limited degree relative to the pipe piece.

  • Publication number: 20150142167
Abstract: In a moulder, at least one rotatably driven tool (7, 8, 10, 11) is used to produce the structure (27) or contour on the workpiece (1) by workpiece removal. The workpiece positions along the workpiece (1) for producing the structure or contour are set depending on the data of the workpiece (1) and of the tool (7, 8, 10, 11). The data are transmitted to the machine controller which processes the CNC program based on the data during the passage of the workpiece (1) through the moulder and moves the tool (7, 8, 10, 11) into the required positions via CNC drives depending on the workpiece position. The workpiece position is sensed during the passage of the workpiece (1) through the moulder. In order to sense the workpiece position in the moulder, at least one measuring element (18) is provided upstream and downstream of the tool (1), said measuring element (18) being connected to the machine controller and supplying signals that describe the advancing travel of the workpiece (1) to the machine controller.

  • Patent number: 9002716
Abstract: Method for describing the composition of audio signals, which are encoded as separate audio objects. The arrangement and the processing of the audio objects in a sound scene is described by nodes arranged hierarchically in a scene description. A node specified only for spatialization on a 2D screen using a 2D vector describes a 3D position of an audio object using said 2D vector and a 1D value describing the depth of said audio object. In a further embodiment a mapping of the coordinates is performed, which enables the movement of a graphical object in the screen plane to be mapped to a movement of an audio object in the depth perpendicular to said screen plane.
