  • Patent number: 11965391
Abstract: An assembly includes a cone having a tapered outer surface, a slips assembly positioned at least partially around the tapered outer surface of the cone, and a sealing ring positioned at least partially around the tapered outer surface of the cone. The slips assembly directly engages the sealing ring, such that the slips assembly is configured to transmit a setting force to the sealing ring, which moves the sealing ring on the tapered outer surface of the cone and expands the sealing ring radially outward. The assembly includes an anti-seal ring positioned adjacent to the sealing ring and around the cone. The anti-seal ring is driven along the tapered outer surface of the cone by engagement with the sealing ring.

  • Patent number: 11938446
Abstract: A method for calculating carbon credits includes obtaining sensor data associated with at least a portion of a deployment for cultivating a target product in a body of water, executing at least one model based at least in part on the sensor data to generate an output predicting at least one characteristic associated with the target product, the deployment, or a portion of the body of water, and inputting the output into a quantification model. The quantification model is executed to generate an output associated with a predicted capacity of the target product to sequester carbon dioxide. An accuracy of the predicted capacity resulting from the output of the quantification model is greater than an accuracy of a predicted or inferred capacity resulting from the output of each model individually. Carbon dioxide offset credits are determined based on the predicted capacity resulting from the output of the quantification model.

  • Publication number: 20240077282
Abstract: An anti-cant indicator assembly, components thereof, and associated methods. The anti-cant indicator assembly indicates the orientation of a weapon with respect to vertical. The anti-cant indicator assembly includes a mount configured to mount to the weapon, a level including a vial containing a bubble and a pivot connection connecting the level to the mount. The pivot connection is configured to permit movement of the level with respect to the mount about the pivot connection between an operational position in which the bubble can be referenced by the user for indicating orientation of the weapon with respect to vertical, and a stowed position different from the operational position. The pivot connection can include a retainer configured to releasably retain the level in at least one of the operational position or the stowed position. The level can be selectively movable with respect to the mount to calibrate the anti-cant indicator.

  • Publication number: 20210243036
Abstract: A device that is capable of sending/receiving telephony-based messages may communicate with a blockchain network without having a direct connection (e.g., internet connection) to the blockchain network. A message may be communicated via a telephony network to a telephony carrier system. The telephony carrier system may translate the telephony-based message into a blockchain-based communication and provide the blockchain-based communication to the blockchain network. In addition, an entity on the blockchain network may communicate with a device that does not have an internet connection to the blockchain network. The entity may initiate a blockchain-based communication that is received by an on-chain interface of a telephony network carrier. In response, the telephony network carrier may generate a telephony-based message and communicate the telephony-based message to the user device.

  • Patent number: 10337857
Abstract: Aspects are generally directed to multi-sensor boresight alignment methods and systems for a multi-spectral reimaging optical system. In one example, a multi-sensor boresight alignment system includes a system interface to receive a first image frame from a first sensor and a second image frame from a second sensor, the first image frame having a contrast within a first spectral band and including a first image of a plate having a pattern of apertures, and the second image frame having a contrast within a second spectral band and including a second image of the plate. The system includes a field programmable gate array (FPGA) coupled to the system interface, the FPGA configured to spot track each image frame to identify a corresponding centroid of the pattern of apertures and correct an optical alignment between the first and second sensors based on a position of the corresponding centroids.
