  • Publication number: 20230200798
Abstract: A surgical retractor assembly for providing surgical exposure. The surgical retractor assembly consists of two frame segments connected by adjustable ratchet mechanisms to form a retractor frame. The ratchet mechanisms can be attached to tissue retractor blades that provide exposure of the wound when expanded, without the requirement of a direct connection/attachment to an operating table or bed frame. The tissue retractor blades are attached in a manner that is adjustable and facilitates the ability of the overall surgical retractor assembly to be raised or lowered with respect to the patient. • Publication number: 20230186250
Abstract: A device receives current vehicle data that describes a current state of each of a plurality of components of the vehicle. The device accesses historical data describing prior services previously performed on the vehicle and applies the current vehicle data and the historical vehicle data to a trained machine learning model to obtain a set of recommended services, where the model was trained using labeled training data associated with additional vehicles having a threshold similarity to the vehicle. The machine learning model is trained to output a set of recommended services to be performed for a given vehicle based on inputs of given current vehicle data and given historical vehicle data for the given vehicle. The device outputs for display the set of recommended services to be performed on the vehicle to a user.

  • Publication number: 20230038460
Abstract: A dressing for treating tissue may be a composite of dressing layers, including a contact layer, a manifold layer, and an adhesive drape. The manifold layer may include one or more layers of felted open-cell foam in some examples. The manifold layer may be relatively thin to reduce the dressing profile and increase flexibility, which can enable it to conform to difficult geometry and other tissue sites under negative pressure. The dressing may have a length and a width less than the length. The manifold layer may include a population of holes extending at least partially therethrough, wherein the holes may be configured to promote anisotropic contraction of the dressing parallel to its width. The population of holes may have a circular, ovoid, triangular, square, hexagonal, irregular, or morphous shape. The dressing may be a bolster that may anisotropically contract to provide a closing force to a linear wound.

  • Patent number: 11547789
Abstract: An apparatus for treating a tissue site includes a dressing, an oxygen source, a valve, and a negative-pressure source. The dressing is configured to be sealed around the tissue site. The oxygen source is fluidly coupled to the dressing and configured to provide a low flow of oxygen. A first port of the valve is fluidly coupled to the dressing and the valve moves between a closed position preventing flow through the valve and an open position permitting flow through the valve. The negative-pressure source is fluidly coupled to a second port of the valve and provides negative pressure to the second port of the valve at a non-therapeutic level. The valve separates the negative-pressure source from the dressing and selectively opens when a positive pressure is applied on an upstream side of the valve.

  • Patent number: 11520480
Abstract: A physical lock interface system facilitates secure and remote control of assignment and enablement of physical lock systems. The system receives a request to enable a user to disable a physical lock during a particular range of time. The lock is associated with a geofence boundary defined by a geofence. During the range of time, the system monitors for a presence of the user within the geofence. In response to determining that the user is within the geofence during the range of time, the system transmits a communication to an application of a client device of the user. The application is configured to interact electronically with the physical lock and to cause the client device to display information identifying the physical lock based on the communication. The system detects an electronic signal initiated by the application while the user is within the geofence and disables the physical lock.
