  • Patent number: 12359926
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for generating transactions based upon rideshare data and updating a distributed ledger. The method may include (1) identifying one or more rideshare companies for which a user offers driving services during a time period; (2) for each of the one or more rideshare companies, identifying a phase of a rideshare trip in which the user is providing driving services for the identified one or more rideshare companies during the time period; (3) determining rideshare data; (4) generating a transaction including a representation of the rideshare data; and/or (5) transmitting the transaction to at least one other participant of the plurality of participants maintaining the distributed ledger. The rideshare data from the distributed ledger for the user may be used to calculate a level of risk when the user is providing ride services.

  • Publication number: 20250148835
Abstract: Methods and systems for obtaining vehicle recall notifications are described herein. A vehicle having one or more autonomous operation features may receive a notification indicating that the vehicle requires a safety recall. The notification may provide identification information for a vehicle part that needs to be replaced. Additionally, the vehicle may determine whether the vehicle part is currently within the vehicle by obtaining a set of identification information for current vehicle parts within the vehicle and comparing the identification information for the vehicle part to the set of identification information for current vehicle parts within the vehicle. In response to determining that the vehicle part is currently within the vehicle, the vehicle may identify a treatment facility for replacing the vehicle part, and cause the vehicle to travel to the identified treatment facility for replacing the vehicle part.

  • Publication number: 20250064661
Abstract: A casket structure and method use features built into a corrugated paper blank to temporarily retain the assembled casket body configuration while a fastening element is administered to secure the corrugated paper blank into the casket body configuration. A blank configured for such a casket structure includes a bottom panel, side panels, end panels, and flaps foldably connected to the side panels. When the blank is assembled into the casket body configuration, each flap overlaps a corresponding end panel. The end panels and overlapping flaps include a key-receiver arrangement in which a receiver is configured to engage a foldable key to at least temporarily hold each overlapping flap in direct engagement with a corresponding end panel to retain the foldable blank in the casket body configuration.

  • Publication number: 20250061522
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for generating a vehicle-to-vehicle traffic alert and updating a vehicle-usage profile. Various aspects include detecting, via one or more processors associated with a first vehicle, that an abnormal traffic condition exists in an operating environment of the first vehicle. An electronic message is generated and transmitted wirelessly, via a vehicle-mounted transceiver associated with the first vehicle, to alert a nearby vehicle of the abnormal traffic condition and to allow the nearby vehicle to avoid the abnormal traffic condition. The first vehicle receives telematics data regarding operation of the nearby vehicle after the nearby vehicle received the electronic message, and transmits the telematics data to a remote server for updating a vehicle-usage profile associated with the nearby vehicle.

  • Patent number: 12177110
Abstract: Techniques for resource-based network traffic management are described. A service of a cloud provider network receives a traffic policy, the traffic policy identifying a path to a gateway to an external network, the path identifies at least one network function in the path by a resource identifier of the cloud provider network. Traffic policy association data is received, the traffic policy association data associating the traffic policy with one or more virtual networks hosted by the cloud provider network. A network configuration of the cloud provider network is updated to route network traffic from a first virtual network to the gateway to the external network through the network function.

  • Publication number: 20240388879
Abstract: A system for providing dynamic roadside assistance coordination may include a customer mobile device or vehicle in direct, or indirect, wireless communication with an insurance provider and/or service provider remote server. The customer's device may transmit a request for roadside assistance (e.g., towing services), and a current GPS location. In response, a closest, trusted service provider vehicle may be determined, and then directed to the customer's location. For instance, a software application may receive the customer location and compare it with availability information to match the customer with a close and trusted service provider. The customer's device may receive an acknowledgement that help is on the way, and be able to track the current location of the service provider vehicle while en route. Payment for the roadside assistance may be automatically and electronically paid by the insurance provider. As a result, prompt and safe roadside assistance may be provided.

The top plank is affixed to the top panel and extends a majority of the length and width of the top panel. One side plank is affixed to the first side panel, and extends a majority of a length of the first side panel. Another side plank is affixed to the second side panel, and extends a majority of a length of the second side panel. The top plank and the side planks are formed of one or more solid materials having a rigidity greater than that of the corrugated structure.

  • Publication number: 20240338669
Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatus, and non-transitory computer readable media are described for using a vehicle as a payment device. Various aspects may include receiving a selection of a stored financial card or financial account at a vehicle head unit. The selected financial card or financial account may be transmitted to a point-of-sale (POS) terminal for making a payment by transmitting a tokenized card number to the POS terminal. The tokenized card number may be transmitted over a very short-range communication link to ensure that the transmission is secure. For example, electronic circuitry may be attached to the exterior of the vehicle, where the electronic circuitry may be within a threshold distance (e.g. one inch, three inches, six inches, one foot, three feet, etc.) of the POS terminal. The tokenized card number may be transmitted from the vehicle head unit to the electronic circuitry and then to the POS terminal.
