  • Publication number: 20250019090
Abstract: A vehicle control and interface system configured to provide dynamic flight envelope protection of an aerial vehicle is described. In particular, the system dynamically calculates allowable trajectory limits for each axis of control through all phases of flight of an aerial vehicle and provides a visualization of the calculated limits on a graphical user interface. During normal operation, the system does not allow the operator to exceed the calculated limits. Responsive to receiving specified user input to modify vehicle navigation, however, the system causes the aircraft to enter an extended envelope by degrading vehicle parameters according to a hierarchy. Moreover, the system is configured to allow the vehicle to operate in a degraded flight state during a prolonged loss of a sensor signal by setting an adjustable hover trim position of each inceptor device and allowing an operator to control horizontal acceleration of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20250019070
Abstract: An emergency module may determine the occurrence of an autorotation condition for a rotary wing air vehicle controlled by a user. The emergency module may, responsive to determining the occurrence of the autorotation condition, control the air vehicle to enter into an autorotation. The emergency module may perform one or more non-user actions during the autorotation to assist the user with the autorotation. The emergency module may, while performing the one or more non-user actions during the autorotation, allow the user to maneuver the air vehicle by interacting one or more control interfaces of the air vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20250019089
Abstract: An emergency module may determine occurrence of emergency events of a vehicle traversing through an environment. The emergency module may rank the emergency events according to importance level associated with each emergency event. The emergency module may select an emergency event based on the ranking. The emergency module may notify a user of the vehicle of the selected emergency event. The emergency module may identify corrective actions associated with the selected emergency event, the identified corrective actions including a user action and a non-user action. The emergency module may perform the non-user action of the identified corrective actions. The emergency module may notify the user of the vehicle of the user action.

  • Patent number: 12159442
Abstract: Systems, computer-implemented methods, and non-transitory machine-readable storage media are provided for detecting recapture attacks of images. One method comprises extracting one or more features from an image captured by a device; applying the one or more features as input to a trained machine learning model, wherein the trained machine learning model outputs a first score based on the extracted features; obtaining metadata of the image; performing a statistical analysis of the metadata of the image; generating a second score based on the statistical analysis of the metadata of the image; and generating a probability that the image is a recapture of an original image based on the first score and the second score.

  • Patent number: 12103662
Abstract: A method to detect a hands off status of a user input device is disclosed. The method comprising filtering a sensed force, acting on the user input device, using a first lag filter to provide a first output, the lag filter comprising a first lag time constant. Filtering the sensed force using a second lag filter, substantially in parallel with the first filter, to provide a second output, the second lag filter comprising a second lag time constant greater than the first lag time constant. Comparing with a first threshold value, in a first comparison, a magnitude of a difference between the first output and the second output. Comparing with a second threshold value, in a second comparison, a magnitude of the second output. Designating the user device to have a hands off status based on the first comparison and the second comparison.

  • Patent number: 12061470
Abstract: A method is disclosed. The method is implemented by a robot engine that is stored as program code on a memory of a system. The program code is executed by a processor of the system, which enables robotic process automations of the robot engine. The processor is communicatively coupled to the memory within the system. The method includes initiating a guided operation of a platform presented by the system and monitoring the guided operation to observe an interaction with the platform or to receive a direct input by the robot engine. The method also includes executing a backend operation with respect to the interaction or the direct input.
