  • Patent number: 8613054
Abstract: In a method of granting a user in a first organization access to private information stored within an access profile of a second organization, an access agreement between the two organizations is formed. Authorization is requested for the user, the access profile is retrieved, and authorization to private information is granted if authorized by the access agreement. In a method of authorizing access by users to private information stored by an organization as associated with a program, three types of caseloads are defined. The first authorizes access to information of a first individual of a first program, the second authorizes access to information of a second individual of a second program, and the third authorizes access to information of all individuals of all programs. Authorization is requested for the user to access one or more of the caseloads, and access to one or more caseloads is granted to the user.

  • Patent number: 8528056
Abstract: A system and method of sharing information among at least a first organization and a second organization, comprising receiving via a communication link a request for authorization for a user in the first organization to access one or more individual's information in a second organization, the communication link comprising the Internet, Wireless Communications, Mobile Devices, a Telephone Network, and Electronic Messaging. A request is logged and authorization is determined based on at least an access profile, one or more caseloads and the one or more roles associated with the user and the type of the one or more individual's information in the second organization. The information requested is transferred, by the communication link, from the second organization to the user in the first organization and such transfer of information is logged.

  • Patent number: 8462789
Abstract: A network processor of an embodiment includes a packet classification engine, a processing pipeline, and a controller. The packet classification engine allows for classifying each of a plurality of packets according to packet type. The processing pipeline has a plurality of stages for processing each of the plurality of packets in a pipelined manner, where each stage includes one or more processors. The controller allows for providing the plurality of packets to the processing pipeline in an order that is based at least partially on: (i) packet types of the plurality of packets as classified by the packet classification engine and (ii) estimates of processing times for processing packets of the packet types at each stage of the plurality of stages of the processing pipeline. A method in a network processor allows for prefetching instructions into a cache for processing a packet based on a packet type of the packet.

  • Publication number: 20110161801
Abstract: A document assembly or document automation system includes an assembler for generating an instance document on the basis of a source document and one or more logic source documents referenced by the source document. The source document and logic source documents are XML documents including at least one XML processing instruction. The source document and logic source documents are valid with respect to XML schema. The system generates an instance document in HTML, PDF or RTF format by resolving variables in the source document and/or logic sources using one or more data sources. This may involve performing one or more interview rounds with a user of the system, access to a database, and/or evaluation of a function defined in one of the documents. The system includes an editor for creating and maintaining source documents and logic source documents whilst maintaining their validity with respect to the appropriate XML schema.

  • Publication number: 20110026897
Abstract: A video recording device includes imaging circuitry, processing circuitry, and communication circuitry. The imaging circuitry is configured to generate image data for a scene being imaged. The processing circuitry is configured to generate first video data using the image data. The communication circuitry is configured to wirelessly send the first video data to another video recording device and to wirelessly receive second video data from the other video recording device. The processing circuitry is further configured to controllably switch during a recording of a video from storing portions of the first video data as part of the video to storing portions of the second video data as part of the video.

  • Patent number: 7753811
Abstract: A grip training device is used to teach a person the proper grip of a ball in usage. More specifically, the grip training device may take the form of a baseball having finger position indicia on it. The finger position indicia may be constituted in several different ways, including by depressions sized and arranged to receive the fingers. The arrangement of the indicia shows how to grip the baseball for throwing different pitches.

  • Patent number: 7526693
Abstract: A circuit that includes a controller and at least one control I/O pin. When the controller is placed into an initial state, the controller initializes the circuit into an initial operation mode. Depending on whether or not signal(s) satisfying predetermined criteria are applied to at least one of the control I/O pins, the controller will cause the circuit to enter one of two or more post-initial operation modes. Accordingly, by initializing the controller, and by controlling a signal on the control I/O pin(s), the operating mode of the circuit may be controlled. In one embodiment, a given control pin might be configurable to be both analog and digital, depending on the circuit's operation mode.
